I Walked Away Seven Years Too Late But Right on Time novel Chapter 154

Gavin released Eileen, his face burning red with embarrassment. "Mom, it's not what she's making it out to be," he muttered. "She's an absolute psycho."

"You're the psycho! You've been completely brainwashed by that vixen!"

The second Eileen's hands were free, she lunged to slap Sophie again, only for Gavin to instantly lock onto her wrist once more.

"Shut up. Making a scene in the middle of a lobby—have you no shame?" Gillian scanned the crowd of onlookers craning their necks for drama, tightly suppressing her boiling anger. "Come with me. Let's get this sorted out in private."

Gillian's commanding presence managed to intimidate even Eileen.

Gavin let her go, pulling Sophie securely to his side as they followed his mother into an adjacent VIP lounge.

Sophie walked in right behind them.

From the brief exchange, she had already pieced together that this woman was Gavin's mother. Things had just taken a catastrophic turn.

If Gavin's parents were led to believe this was her true nature, how could they ever consent to Gavin dating her?

A woman like Sophie deserved to be thrown away by every man and left to rot alone.

The very thought fueled Eileen's adrenaline. She threw herself onto the sofa opposite Gillian, pointed a manicured finger at Sophie, and sneered, "Keep a close eye on your son. Don't let this vixen play him for a fool. She's a master at manipulating men."

Gillian cut her off with a look of pure disgust. "Where is your proof for those wild accusations you were screaming out there?"

"My dad has photos of her on his laptop! Back in April, he even used a fake business trip as a cover to sneak into Seattle and rendezvous with her. He even bought her the vintage red Mary Janes... She stole my fiancé, then she went after my dad! She's a—"

"No! None of that ever happened!" Sophie choked back her tears, her voice sharp with defiance.

"Mrs. Gilmore, I swear to you, I have never given her father any photos of me. I never saw him in April, and I have absolutely no idea what vintage red Mary Janes she's talking about."

Sophie looked desperately at Gillian. Gillian's gaze swept coldly over her face without lingering for a second, shifting straight to Gavin.
