Not long after Demi arrived at the office, an assistant knocked on her door, struggling to carry huge bags of fruit. Lewis was not in yet.

“Ms. Snow, where should these go?”

She assumed Lewis had sent them, so she said, “Put them on the coffee table.”

The assistant set them down and left, only to return with nearly the same amount again.

As she wondered if her father had ordered it, Lewis came back carrying several more bags.

Seeing the overflowing table, he blinked. “Ms. Snow, c-can you eat all of this?”

Demi frowned. Lewis clearly had no idea.

It wasn’t him, so maybe her parents sent it? But even then, they wouldn’t send this much to the office.

Suddenly, she knew the answer.

She took the fruit and cakes Lewis bought and gestured at the fruit. “Lewis, distribute these to the staff downstairs.”

Lewis hesitated, seeing the expensive fruit, but nodded without asking more.

He quickly cleared the table.
