Demi had no idea what Nevin and Roderick talked about, but the two of them even went upstairs and stayed in the study for over an hour.
Demi washed up and changed into loungewear
Tomorrow was a rest day, so she messaged the staff who were working overtime tonight and asked them to send the documents to her email
When she finished everything and checked the time, it was already 10:30. She was about to sleep when she faintly beard Orion’s laughter downstairs.
Still wet bearing?
She went down and said directly to Nevin. “It’s late. Why are you still here?”
Koderick wanted to say something. He even considered suggesting they stay the night since the Snow Mansion had plenty of guest rooms. But he wouldn’t ris upsetting his daughter just for Nevin.
As for his grandson…
Roderick glanced at Carol. This kind of thing was better handled by her, as she always protected her own.

“Bye-bye, Grandma, Grandpa.”
Nevin kept his expression cool. He held Orion’s hand and politely said goodbye to the two elders.

Before she could speak. Nevin glanced at her and said as if reading her thoughts, “I only came to bring Orion to visit his grandparents.”
That shut down everything she had wanted to say
“Mom, can I still come visit Grandma and Grandpa again? I like them…”
Orion’s voice trembled. Mom won’t come home, and now she won’t let him stay here either.
He felt so wronged
But at least Grandma and Grandpa really liked him.
Demi lowered her eyes. You’re welcome to visit them. But…”
Orion had just brightened up when that “but crushed m
