Chapter 78 Stalking
When Demi returned, Carol didn’t say words like, it was just one night, what’s the big deal?
Roderick wanted to speak, but Carol shot him a glare.
As parents, they knew they shouldn’t interfere too much in their children’s marriage.
“Tomorrow is Sunday. Stay home and rest. You’re not allowed to go to the office. You hear me?”
Finished
Carol tugged Roderick upstairs and told the housekeeper. “May, keep an eye on her. Don’t let her leave tomorrow morning”
Demi couldn’t help laughing
But she had been running nonstop lately, so a day of res was fine.
The next morning
Being idle made Demi feel restless. She ate, lounged around, then tried opening her laptop-only for Carol to pop up instantly and snatch it away each time.
After several attempts, Demi gave up completely and stopped thinking about work.
Back at the Blackwell Villa
Early in the morning. Nevin put on a suit. Clearly, he wasn’t going to the office.
Onion woke up excited, ready to visit Grandma and Grandpa again. He immediately called out to Nevin.
Dad, where are you going? Take me to Grandma’s!”
They had just visited yesterday. If they showed up again today, Demi would definitely be upset.
Winning her favor was hard enough; he didn’t want to make it worse.
Nevin didn’t plan to take Orion to the Snows. He told him to stay home and play while he went to see if Demi needed anything so he could send it over.
That’s when Orion realized it–Nevin had been bringing Demi fruit and pastries every day just to get a
chance to see her.
“I want to see Mom too! Dad, you’re selfish! You only think about seeing her yourself and never take me!”
Orion felt wronged and shocked. His dad didn’t even tell him!
Nevin eventually brought Orion with him. As expected once he knew they were going to see Demi, the boy couldn’t sit still.
When they arrived at Snow Group, Nevin suddenly realized that it was Sunday, so Demi was probably
home.
He hesitated. Sending fruit and pastries to the Snows?

Wouldn’t that embarrass the elders?
The Snows had the means to give Demi anything she wanted.
He kept only one set with him and drove straight to the Snow Mansion.
Just then, another car approached.
Orion slapped the car window excitedly, “Mom! It’s Mom!”
But the other car couldn’t hear him. The two vehicles passed each other, and Demi’s car drove off.
Nevin quickly turned around to follow her.
Demi went to the mall first, picking out some new clothes.
Of course, she noticed the tall man and small boy trailing behind her.
