Chapter 55

Joshua’s smile widened. He reached out and gently ruffled my hair. “Okay. We’ll do it your way. We go to Chezing now

The next morning, our car stopped in front of the Harvey mansion. As soon as I stepped out, my parents rushed toward me, forced sense tares, their earlier arrogance gone. They grabbed my hands.

Louisa, you’re back! The company’s stock is crashing! You must convince the Elliott Family to inject money! We’re family! You cant just wat

yanked my hands away in disgust. My cold gaze swept over them as I pulled a folded paper from my bag and threw it at their fear “Family Ses long ago. This is the agreement you signed. Or have you forgotten?”

They froze, eyes widening at the signatures. Their faces paled. But in the next second, they lunged forward, clutching my arm, wailing “Loudt those were just angry words! You’re our biological daughter! Please, for the sake of blood..”

Before they could continue, Serena stormed in, eyes bloodshot, face twisted with rage. “You bitch! The Harvey Family ended up like this because

of you! You came back for revenge!”

Before she could spew more insults, I raised my hand and slapped her hard. The sound echoed

My parents instinctively moved to protect her, but their hands froze mid-air. Their expressions changed completely. They rushed past Serena and turned on her instead, pointing and cursing viciously. “You ungrateful brat! How dare you speak to Louisa like that? She’s our real daughter! Who

do you think you are?!”

Serena staggered back, stunned. Her voice broke as she shouted, “How could you? You always said you loved me most!”

I didn’t stay to watch. Without a word, I turned toward the door. “Let’s go to Harvey Corporation.”

Joshua was right behind me, his presence steady, reassuring. I could feel his quiet pride.

At Harvey Corporation, I immediately called a shareholders’ meeting. Standing at the head of the table, I laid out the evidence of my parents embezzlement and terrible decisions. The thick stack of documents hit the table with a heavy thud.

The shareholders, long dissatisfied, didn’t hesitate. With undeniable proof and Joshua’s support, they voted unanimously within minutes to remove the Harvey Family from all management and hand full control to me.

When the news reached the mansion, my parents broke down completely. Their anger turned toward Serena. My mother lunged first, grabbing Serena by the hair. “It’s all your fault! If you hadn’t bullied Louisa, why would she want revenge? You’ve destroyed us!”

Serena’s eyes blazed red. She shoved her back, shouting, “This is your own fault! Don’t blame me!”
