Forced by Zachary and Charles, Nina and Ryan, who really didn’t want to go to the Foster residence, had no choice but to go along anyway.
As soon as they arrived there, they heard an angry voice coming from the villa before stepping inside. “I always knew Nina was a bad influence. I can’t believe she’s leading Grandma astray, too. How can anyone be so downright vicious?”
“Exactly! I have no idea what Ryan sees in her. He could’ve married one of those high–society girls, but he ended up with a girl who used to work at a nightclub.
‘Now Nina even got Grandma and Aunt Grace out there, causing a scene. When my friend told me about it, I was so embarrassed I wanted to crawl into a hole!” Tina sneered.
‘If you’re so embarrassed, what are you doing here? Honestly, you should just stay home and cover your face,” Sophia said, shooting Tina a mocking look from across the table.
Tina blinked, then snapped, “Sophia, what’s your problem? I was talking about Nina. Why are you picking a fight with me?” ‘Oh, so you know you’re talking about Nina? She’s my sister–in–law, and you’re trashing her right in front of me. What, you want me to cheer you on or something?” Sophia snapped back.
Tina looked at her, totally stunned. “What’s wrong with you? Weren’t you the one who hated Nina the most? Why are you suddenly defending her?”
Sophia gave her a glance. “Maybe I’m not the sharpest tool in the shed, but I’d never betray my family and help outsiders badmouth my own sister–in–law.”
Outside the door, Nina arched an eyebrow.
She thought, ‘Sophia’s actually sticking up for me. Good for her!‘
‘Sophia!” Walker, her uncle, sitting next to Tina, said with a grim expression. “Watch your mouth!”
Ximena, Walker’s wife, shot Sophia a sideways look, her tone full of mockery. “Nina really is something, huh? It hasn’t even been that long, and she’s already turned your whole family to her side. Now we’re the ones left out, like we’re not family anymore.”
Sophia’s expression froze for a moment, then she just pressed her lips together and stayed quiet.
She used to dislike Nina, but honestly, her so–called uncles and aunts annoyed her way more.
It wasn’t just her being petty. Even her grandparents couldn’t stand them.
They preferred not to live with them just because they were way too much of a hassle.
Her grandparents had three sons and two daughters.
Her dad was the youngest of the boys. He had two older brothers
It was said that parents always spoiled the youngest kid the most in rich families, but not in the Foster family.
Grandpa and Grandma never played favorites with any of their kids,
They cared more about what each kid could actually do.

ina shot Vivian a grin. “Relax, Aunt Romy. I’m not that stupid. If my brother ever tries to marry some girl from a nightclub, ‘ll be over my dead body.”
aul, who’d been sitting next to Sophia and had zero interest in getting dragged into their bickering, couldn’t help but nicker. “Honestly, Jude is good–for–nothing. Even the nightclub girls wouldn’t fancy him.”
ina’s face darkened. As she was about to snap back, Walker slammed his hand on the table. “Don’t you know how to show ome respect? Is this what your parents taught you?”
Saul’s expression turned cold, but since Walker was his uncle, he held his tongue.
Walker was a real piece of work. With Grandpa, Grandma, and his parents not around, if he really got pushed too far, hel night actually get physical.
Being his nephew, Saul knew he couldn’t go against an elder like that.
‘Walker, care to explain what exactly I did wrong raising Saul? Grace said, her face cold as she walked in.
She stood right in front of Walker, looking him straight in the eye. “Was it Saul not calling you ‘Uncle Walker politely, or was it something he said that crossed the line?”
Walker opened his mouth to reply, but Grace cut him off. “Actually, your son Jude has no runners. Every time he see me, he’s so rude. I’ve been married into the Foster family for so many years, laut he’s never called me Aunt
“Is this how you teach your kids manners?”
