Luna's Deadly Deception: How She Made Her Alpha Pay novel Chapter 121

Mody remained quiet, her gaze slowly dropping to the floor. When Noah noticed she wasn't going to say anything else, he turned to the other two girls.

They were also silent as well, none of them daring to mutter a single word to Noah. It was hilarious seeing how their postures and attitude had switched so quickly.

Even the servants who had been so nonchalant and disrespectful when I got here didn't look like they had anything to say.

"And what about them?" Noah turned to me, pointing at the servants. "I'm guessing they're in on this too."

He took my silence as an answer and turned to Askhan. "I believe I don't need to tell you what you need to do."

Askhan nodded, a firm look on his face. "They'll all be punished for their behaviours. I can assure you that."

He turned to another line of them. "I want all of Thea's things arranged and put back in all the right places. Not a single stone should be dropped in the wrong place or else you can all kiss your jobs here good bye."

They visibly paled at Askhan's words and all bowed their heads, muttering a string of apologies and other things I didn't bother paying attention to.

With that, they all made their way back to my quarters and began quickly putting my things back the way it had been in the first place.

I turned to Bella and her trio, my lips slowly curling into a smirk. They all stood there in silent anger, unable to say or do anything.

When I first came here, they had seen themselves as the winners and the figures at the top of the pyramid. Now things had taken a drastic change and there was barely anything they could do about it.

As soon as I had tasted something wrong in the cookies, I had immediately tried to contact Jane using the mind link we shared with each other.

"I still don't feel too good." My hand immediately went to my head.

Lucian turned to me, a look of worry in his eyes as he watched me. "Do you want to sit down?"

I nodded my head. Lucian made a move to come towards me but Askhan beat him to it. Before I could even decline the offer, the royal prince was already by my side.

"Are you okay now? How do you feel?" He asked, putting a hand on my forehead. "Your head hurts?"

"Just a little bit." I smiled a little.

Madison looked like she was going to explode at any second. If she was pissed by anything, it was most likely at the close proximity between me and Askhan. I honestly didn't blame her for it.

"Thea." Askhan stopped.

I did the same, turning to look at him in surprise. There was a soft look in his eyes as he watched me. It seemed he had something to say. Just as he opened his lips to speak, we both felt the presence of another person.

I whipped my head forward to see it was none other than Quentin. He was slowly making his way towards me, a confident smile on his face as he ascended the stairs.

I didn't like that look on his face. Given the chance, I wanted nothing more than to wipe that satisfied look on his face.

Would that be satisfying? Absolutely.

"Fancy seeing you here." Quentin said.

I rolled my eyes, resisting the urge to roll my eyes. He had just stepped out of the car and had a weird look in his eyes.

Was he going to drive off again?

I didn't have a single clue his reason for coming here and quite frankly, I wasn't sure I knew why. Quentin's tires were covered in mud. I also noticed a couple of leaves had stuck themselves to his shirt. It looked like the petals of a familiar flower.
