"Screw you, asshole! You dare whip me?! Do you have a death wish?!"
The young woman spat a string of curses the moment she opened her mouth. Without a shred of hesitation, she slapped the back of Silas's head. Still unsatisfied, she delivered a vicious kick to his backside.
Silas struggled frantically, but the straps were tied incredibly tight. The more he fought, the deeper they dug into his flesh, making him grit his teeth in agony.
"Who the hell are you?!"
The girl ignored him, taking two steps back and looking down at him with sheer disdain.
Her face was totally blank, her eyes as cold as dead water. It was a complete contrast to the terrified victim from a minute ago.
Silas was kneeling on the floor, hands bound behind his back, looking utterly pathetic.
His shirt was still open, exposing his chest. His hair hung messily over his forehead, and his entire demeanor screamed hysterical rage.
"Guards! Guards!"
He screamed toward the door.
Quickly, footsteps echoed in the hallway.
Silas's eyes lit up, and he struggled even harder. "Get in here! Grab this bitch and..."
Before he could finish, the door was pushed open.
A tall, lean figure strolled casually into the room.
Wearing a dark gray silk shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his forearms, he revealed pale wrists. A faint mole rested right on the bone.
His features were sharp, as if carved from marble. Deep-set eyes, a high-bridged nose, and thin lips pressed into a tight line. He radiated an aura of absolute dominance and freezing superiority.
He leaned against the doorframe, one long leg slightly bent, his posture incredibly relaxed. A faint, mocking smile touched his lips as he looked down at Silas kneeling on the floor.
"Brother, do you like the gift I sent you?"
Silas's pupils constricted violently.
"Hudson?!"
Hudson didn't move. He kept leaning against the doorframe, letting his gaze slowly rake over Silas before glancing around the room. "The decor isn't bad, but the taste is trash. So much red and green. Tacky."
Silas's face turned white, then green. His lips trembled, but he couldn't form a single word.
