"Save the flattery," Lawrence said, dropping his hands. "Go get him, and make it quick. Don't draw any attention."

Silas agreed profusely and hurried out of the lounge.

"Hudson, don't blame your uncle for being ruthless."

He muttered to himself in a raspy, low voice.

He knew better than anyone that Hudson was living on borrowed time.

So he had no choice but to speed up the process and send him to the grave himself.

Lawrence let out a soft sigh, murmuring with mock sympathy, "But don't worry. Once you're gone, I'll send her right after you. That way, you won't be lonely on the other side. It's the least I can do given how much you adore her..."
