Milton let out a nervous cough, attempting to intervene. "Serena, you're clearly in the wrong here. Company policy strictly forbids spreading malicious gossip. You need to—"

"I'm not spreading gossip! It's the truth!" Serena shrieked, her voice echoing off the glass walls. "Her resume is entirely fake! She didn't even graduate high school! How can we let a liar work here? It'll turn Star Entertainment into a laughingstock!"

Leo's voice dropped to a dangerous, icy register. "Since when do you own Star Entertainment? You think you get to decide who stays and who gets fired? Who the hell do you think you are?"

Serena choked on her words, her chest heaving as she glared at him, utterly humiliated.

Milton was practically doing a tap dance of anxiety, desperately trying to de-escalate the situation. "Leo, please, she made a terrible mistake. If she just offers a formal apology, we can—"

"Director Zade," Leo cut him off sharply. "Serena Sinclair violated core company regulations. She orchestrated a malicious smear campaign to destroy a colleague's reputation. According to our handbook, what is the protocol?"

Milton's mouth opened and closed like a dying fish. He looked from Leo's merciless stare to Serena's furious face. Sweat was practically pouring down his neck. Serena came from a wealthy family and handled two of the agency's top talents. But Leo was a Hamilton—the founding family of the agency—and the new owner, Hudson Lancaster, was their closest ally.

There was no contest. He knew exactly who held the real power.

Milton swallowed hard. "According to policy... immediate termination."

Serena exploded, her body trembling with absolute rage. "You're firing me?! I've given three years of my life to this company! I've made millions for you! And you're firing me over that uneducated piece of trash?! She's a complete fraud!"

Disgusted, Leo didn't even bother arguing. He pulled out his phone and made a quick call.

"Security? Get up to the Management conference room right now. We have a hostile individual."

The blood drained from Serena's face. She finally realized Leo wasn't bluffing. This was the end.

"You're going to regret this, Leo!" she screamed, abandoning all pretense of sanity. "She's a liar! Her real name is Eleanor Vance! She crawled out of Northampton! Her own father is a convicted rapist rotting in a prison cell right now! You're all being played by a—"

"Shut your mouth!" Leo barked, his eyes blazing with absolute disgust.
