Madly Yours (Nora Reed) novel Chapter 86

"Throw her out," Hudson ordered.

"Yes, Mr. Lancaster!" The terrified security guards hurriedly hauled the unconscious Serena into the elevator.

Arthur stepped up beside Hudson, keeping his voice low. "Mr. Lancaster, the Sinclair family might..."

Hudson looked down, methodically adjusting his immaculate cuffs. His voice was laced with pure frost. "If the Sinclairs don't know how to discipline their daughter, I will do it for them. Put the word out. I never want to see that woman in San Francisco again."

"Understood, Boss."

The news moved like wildfire.

Within an hour, every single employee in Star Tower knew Serena Sinclair had been violently ousted and permanently blacklisted for targeting the new hire.

But the bloodbath didn't stop there.

HR termination emails began firing off in rapid succession. Every single person who had forwarded the malicious rumors in the company group chats was fired on the spot.

He didn't spare a single one.

It was a brutal purge, but it was incredibly effective. Between Serena's horrible reputation and the sheer terror of the mass firings, nobody dared to breathe a word of the rumors again. Everyone understood the message loud and clear: the billionaire owner was setting a terrifying example, and Serena had been stupid enough to volunteer for the slaughter.

By the time five o'clock rolled around, the office was deadly quiet.

Nora packed her bag and took the elevator down to the underground parking garage. Her car was tucked away in a dark corner—a modest, unassuming white sedan she had bought a few days ago. Sitting amongst the rows of luxury sports cars, it looked hilariously out of place.

She pulled out her keys, but just as she hit the unlock button, a blinding beam of light sliced through the darkness, hitting her straight in the eyes.

Nora flinched, throwing a hand up to shield her face as she squinted into the glare.

A sleek black Maybach had silently glided up beside her. The massive engine let out a low, aggressive purr that vibrated through the concrete floor.

The tinted window rolled down with a soft hum, revealing Hudson's devastatingly handsome face.

"Get in."
