Margaret Tucker AKA Lord Reaper novel Chapter 140

Raymond was stunned.

What the hell is going on here?

"Maggie, what are you gonna do?" Raymond asked dumbly.

Margaret wore an icy expression, answering calmly, "I'm riding to school myself."

Raymond stood frozen for another few seconds.

He couldn't help but say, "Maggie, stop messing around. These motorcycles are heavy—you can't ride one."

Margaret, dressed in black casual clothes, straddled the motorcycle. Her legs were long, straight, and slender.

Her hair was tied up in a ponytail, looking neat, crisp, and incredibly heroic.

So beautiful!

Raymond couldn't help but stare, transfixed.

After a long pause, Raymond said worriedly, "You really can't ride this heavy bike. It's way too heavy for a girl to handle."

He added, sounding extremely wealthy and generous, "If you wanna try it, we can skip class later. I'll take you to the dealership. Whatever sports car you want—Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche... I'll buy it for you."

When does he get so chatty?

Margaret gave him a disgusted look, her tone cold. "Is there anything I can't drive?"

Those guys are so full of themselves—so arrogant!

In their eyes, it's like some people are just born weaker than others!

Raymond looked skeptical. "You really know how to ride this?"

Margaret had grown up in the countryside. Logically, she shouldn't know how to ride one at all.

Besides, all the heavy bikes in his garage were totally unsuitable for girls to ride.

Seeing that Margaret seemed interested in riding motorcycles, Raymond had a sudden idea. "Maggie, if you like, I'll build you a motorcycle that's perfect for girls when I get back. I can teach you how to ride it."

He was so smart!

While teaching her to ride, he could naturally bond with her!

Margaret glanced at him, challenging. "How about a bet?"

Raymond was confused. "Bet on what?"

Margaret blinked, her voice cold. "Bet on who gets to school first. If I win, you stay away from me from now on—stop clinging to me like glue."

The light in Raymond's eyes dimmed instantly.

Margaret disliked him. He felt so sad.

He thought for a moment, and a glimmer of hope and fantasy reignited in his eyes. "What if I win?"

"You win?" Margaret frowned, then a confident and bold glow appeared on her cold face. She said domineeringly, "Sorry, but you can't win."

Raymond shook his head and bit his lip hard, using the pain to stay awake.

He said nervously, "You can't go back on your word! We have to have this race!"

He couldn't let such a good opportunity slip away.

"Fine."

Margaret didn't say anything else.

Both of them put on their helmets.

"Maggie, do you know how to start it?"

Raymond couldn't help but tease her. He had absolute confidence when it came to racing.

Margaret didn't say a word. She inserted the key, started the engine, released the clutch, and stepped on the gas!

The whole set of movements was done in one smooth, seamless flow—neat, crisp, and incredibly cool!

The engine roared to life!

Raymond, standing nearby, widened his eyes, stunned by Margaret's movements!

She really knew how to ride!

Shocked as he was, Raymond still oozed confidence. "Maggie, I'll let you take a 30-minute head start—otherwise I'll feel like I'm totally ganging up on you."
