Margaret Tucker AKA Lord Reaper novel Chapter 29

Chapter 29 The Servants’ Submission

“Ah! It hurts! It hurts so much!”

Beatrice held her ears and screamed in agony.

The noise was unbearable.

Margaret frowned, her gaze turning deadly. “Keep screaming and I’ll end you.”

Beatrice’s cries cut off instantly. It was like death itself had stared back at her. Pure terror took over. Her hands and feet went cold.

The pain was unbearable, but she didn’t dare make another sound.

A moment later, her heavy body collapsed onto the cold floor.

She had fainted from fear.

Margaret glanced at the guards by the door. “Get her out of here.”

The guards jumped into action

“Yes, Ms. Tucker.”

Margaret’s voice carried undeniable authority-like a queen giving orders.

As they passed her, even these tough, battle-hardened men felt a chill run down their spines.

Margaret’s presence was overwhelming.

They were trained fighters who had seen combat and death.

But the pressure coming from this girl was heavier than from legendary warriors with countless kills.

Beatrice’s heavy body was dragged away like a dead animal.

It was a brutal scene, straight out of a horror movie.

The living room fell completely silent.

The servants stood in rows, not daring to speak. They kept their heads down and didn’t even dare look at Margaret.

About a dozen of them were visibly shaking.

They were terrified, but since Margaret hadn’t dismissed them, no one dared move.

No one wanted to be the next “Beatrice.”

“Someone clean this up,” Margaret said, frowning at the bloodstains. She liked things clean.

“Yes, Ms. Tucker.”

The moment she spoke, servants rushed to obey, hanging on her every word. All the previous disrespect had vanished.

In this world, you had to be stronger and tougher than others to make them fear you. That was the only way

If you were soft and tried to avoid conflict, people would push you around until they walked all over you.

Margaret had learned that lesson when she was just five years old.

In that organization, only the ruthless survived.

“The coffee has gone cold. Bring a new cup.”

“Yes, Ms. Tucker.”

Margaret relaxed on the sofa. Her figure was elegant and alluring, and she carried the dignity of a queen.

Her commanding gaze swept across the room. “If I hear any of you gossiping behind my back again, you’ll end up like Beatrice.”

A clear and direct warning.

Among the Tucker family servants, only Beatrice had dared to bully Margaret openly.

The others had looked down on her too, but they only talked behind her back.

Now, every servant felt like they had been thrown into hell, pinned under a demon’s stare. The suffocating fear made them want to collapse.

“Ms. Tucker, we won’t do it again! We were wrong!”

Thud!

They all dropped to their knees before Margaret.

Just then, Matthew and the others walked into the living room and saw this shocking scene. His face darkened instantly.

This disobedient girl was getting completely out of control. She had caused a scene at the engagement party, and now she was causing trouble at home.

She had even made the servants kneel. What had they done to deserve this?
