**Chapter 176: I Didn’t Mean Right Now**
**Deanna’s POV:**
A flicker ignited within me, a spark of realization that changed everything.
It dawned on me that Latis was merely dissecting the situation from a business standpoint, breaking it down with a cold, analytical precision.
Just then, Luis’s teasing voice floated through the car, laced with that familiar lazy charm. “So if you want my help, you’ll have to pay me some serious interest.”
My lashes fluttered in surprise, a rush of emotions flooding through me.
Serious interest?
With the Mooncrown Pack’s vast resources and wealth, there was no one in Sudland who could rival his financial standing.
And here I was, practically broke.
All I had to offer was… myself.
I lowered my gaze, biting my lip as I hesitated, the words tumbling out in a whisper, “Tonight I’ll… I’ll satisfy you.”
Luis continued driving, but the moment those words left my mouth, he turned to me with a devilish grin that sent my heart racing. “Satisfy me with what, exactly?”
Heat rushed to my cheeks, a mix of annoyance and embarrassment flooding my senses. “You know exactly what I mean! Why are you acting so clueless?”
Luis erupted in laughter, the sound rich and playful. “Deanna, why are you blushing like that, huh?”
The courage I had mustered moments ago evaporated under his teasing gaze, leaving me feeling vulnerable and exposed. “Forget it,” I snapped, trying to regain some semblance of control.
“I’ll give you another deal,” he said, his tone shifting as he maneuvered the car sharply, veering into a deserted side street.
Before I could fully comprehend what was happening, he slammed the brakes, bringing the vehicle to a halt in a secluded corner.
In an instant, he reached over, effortlessly pulling me from the passenger seat and onto his lap.
I found myself straddling him, my legs spread wide, trapped in a position with no escape.
His gaze was intense, burning into me with an unwavering hunger. “You get me all worked up, and then you tell me to forget it? Deanna, you really are wicked.”
Seated on his lap, I could feel the hard, defined muscles beneath me, a palpable reminder of his strength.
Swallowing hard, I made one last desperate attempt. “Can we just… wait till we get home…?”
Luis sighed dramatically, as if the very idea was laughable. “I can’t wait.”
“There are things we need to do at home, but right now, there’s something urgent to take care of right here. Deanna, can’t you feel it? It’s waiting for you.”
Oh my God!
This man was a force of nature, dangerously irresistible.
My lips felt parched, and my heart raced so fast I could barely form coherent thoughts.
I wanted to say no, to push him away and regain control, but Luis captured my hands, pressing them firmly against his chest.
His strikingly handsome face drew closer, his lips teasingly brushing against mine before trailing down to my earlobe, his tongue dancing there.
He knew every one of my weak spots, every sensitive nerve that he could exploit.
A shiver coursed down my spine, an electric thrill that shot straight to my core, leaving me breathless and yearning.
