Seeing the imposing wolf guards storm in, many assumed there had been a kidnapping- panic erupted, screams rose in waves.
Aaron led the way at the front, expression blank.
“Search.”
Just that one word.
Dozens of wolf guards swept the villa, top to bottom.
The pounding steps rolled like a death spell in everyone’s ears; no one dared move rashly.
Upstairs, Bluestone Alpha Carey was roused from his rest by the commotion and, supported by servants, tottered down the stairs.
Jennifer and Victoria were also herded down.
In moments, everyone attending the birthday gala was gathered in the central hall, forbidden to wander.
Carey stared at his 85th birthday banquet, which, in a blink, turned into the scene of a hostage. crisis.
His face went dark as iron; his whole frame trembled; his cane hammered the floor. “What on earth is going on?”
Harrison and Gerald, stunned by Luis’s posture, couldn’t squeeze out a sentence–only flicked their eyes toward the cold, implacable man radiating menace at the side.
To turn Bluestone Pack Alpha’s 85th birthday into this mess-
Only Luis, that brazen, arrogant man, had the clout.
Seeing his two sons glance at Luis, Carey moved over, asking cautiously, “Mr. Eaton, what has happened? Is it necessary to mobilize wolf guards?”
Crystal light skimmed the man’s stark brows; his eyes were all frost.

He smiled, but there wasn’t a shred of warmth in his eyes. “My future Luna vanished at your birthday gala. I’ll have to ask you to bear with me.
“If anything happens to her, everyone here today…”
Luis paused; his dark gaze swept the room. “Go down with her.”
The crowd blanched at once; bodies shook; shrieks rippled anew.
Victoria shot her daughter a grave look–one that said, “Was this you?”
Jennifer’s heart pounded, but she forced herself to shake her head.
She bit down hard–telling herself no one would trace anything back to her.
Victoria exhaled slowly.
If her daughter had done something so foolish, they wouldn’t even know how they died.
At Jennifer’s.side, Amya and Shelby tried to bolt.
But the wolf guards, fierce as demons, blocked the doors; there was no escape.
Terrified, Shelby and Amya stumbled with reddened eyes and fell to the floor.
Aaron came down with his men from the upper floor and stopped before Luis. “Mr. Eaton, we didn’t find her anywhere in the villa.”
“Yeah?”
