Jay drove Aurora to the Strider residence early in the morning. The servant opened the door and asked, “Miss Aurora, what brings you

here?

Aurora replied, ‘Is Zane home? I’m looking for him.”

The servant said, “Yes, he is still in bed.”

Aurora chuckled, “Could you please wake him up for me?”

The servant hesitated, “He doesn’t like to be disturbed while sleeping…”

Aurora waved it off, “No worries, I’ll go wake him up myself.”

Servant: “…Please come in, Miss Aurora.”

Aurora walked in with Jay and sat in the living room. “Jay, go wake him up. By any means necessary.”

Jay followed the servant upstairs. Ten seconds later, a scream like a pig being slaughtered echoed from above. Aurora nearly spat out her

water.

Jay came back downstairs, “Did you hear that? He’s definitely awake!”

Aurora: “…”

Zane rushed downstairs in his robe, saw Aurora casually sipping water on the sofa, and yelled, “Are you even human? Who comes to someone’s house this early to wake them up?”

Aurora put down her cup, “I am, that’s why I sent Jay to wake you up, not doing it myself.”

Zane: “…”

Alaric walked into the living room, “Aurora, you are here?”

Aurora nodded, “I came to find Zane.”

Alaric glanced at the frazzled Zane, “You’re up this early? How did that happen?”

Jay leaned in towards Aurora, “I snuck a bag of ice cubes from the kitchen and put it in his bed. Woke him right up.”

Aurora: “…”

Zane: “…”

Alaric: “…”

Zane’s face turned red with funny. Alaric tried to defuse the situation, ‘Aurora, have you had breakfast? Want to join us?”

Aurora shook her head, I’m here to pick up Zane. We’re going to the film set.”

Zane perked up. You’re letting me go back to play Dylan?”

“We’ll see,” said Aurora.

Zane dashed upstairs to change, grabbed a bun from the dining room, and hopped into the car with Aurora.

Once they arrived at the film set, Cheryl was there in her usual diva attire. She saw Zane and asked, “Sure you don’t need a stunt double?”

Zane scoffed, ‘I’m not the vase the internet makes me out to be!”

Aurora had the makeup artist set Zane’s look. They shot a few scenes to get into the groove. The story moved to the decline of the Dylan’s family.

His mother was seriously ill, and Dylan had no choice but to find work to earn money for medicine.

He carried the goods step by step, the foreman whipping him from behind, yelling, “Hurry up! You bastard?”

Dylan hadn’t had a full meal in days and had never done this kind of heavy labor. He couldn’t keep up and was soon fired from the docks.

He tried pulling rickshaws for people, but he was too slow for that too.

Desperate, Dylan went to borrow money from old friends. But those fair–weather friends wanted nothing to do with him. Not a single one

lent him any money.

Yasmine sent him some money. Dylan never thought that the only person willing to help him at this time would be a low–status singer.

His mother passed away from her severe illness, and Dylan lost all hope. He went to a dance hall to drink, got utterly drunk, started fights, and refused to pay. The bouncers beat him up and threw him out.

The director yelled “Cut!” and said loudly, “I said to beat up Dylan, not give him a massage! Even if it’s fake, put some force into it!”

The extras nodded, but their actions in the next take were still soft.

Everyone knew Zane was the heir of the wealthy Strider family, a notorious figure in the entertainment industry. Who would dare to actually hit him?

Zane shot a challenging look at Aurora, as if to say, “It’s not my fault the scene’s bad. No one dares to hit me, what can I do?”

Aurora stood up and walked over, ‘Is it that hard to hit him? He’s Dylan, not Zane.”

The extras lowered their heads, not daring to speak. They knew Aurora was not to be messed with, but neither was Zane.

Aurora turned to Zane, “If we can’t get this right, we’ll keep shooting it all day.”

Zane argued, “If they won’t hit me, what can I do?”

Aurora called out, ‘Jay! Come here.

Jay sauntered over, ‘What’s up?”

Aurora gestured with her lips, ‘Beat him up.

Jay pointed at Zane, then at himself, “Me? Beat him? Come on, I’d wreck him.”

Zane: “…Then do it!”

He didn’t believe it. He’d only fallen into the pool last night because Aurora had caught him off guard. He couldn’t possibly lose to everyone.

Jay looked like a younger guy, shorter and probably not as strong.

Jay shook his head, walked over, and punched Zane in the shoulder. He quickly twisted Zane’s arms behind his back and pinned him to the floor.

His moves were so fast that Zane didn’t have time to react.

Jay let go, “See? Told you I’d wreck him.”

Zane, not willing to admit defeat, jumped up to attack Jay. Jay dodged and swept Zane’s legs out from under him, sending him crashing to the floor.

Jay: “You scared me for a second.”

Zane: “…”

Aurora: “What kind of freaks do I have around me? Jay’s just a driver, why is he so good at fighting?”

Aurora helped Zane up, “So, either the extras act with you, or Jay does. Your choice.”

Zane: …Let’s just shoot the scene!”
