Me And My Billionaire Husband (Aurora and Heath) novel Chapter 127

Chapter 127

Kieran drove like he never had before. If anything happened to Aurora, the boss wouldn’t care who lived in those villas; he’d turn the place upside down.

At the crossroads where the surveillance ended, Jay leaped out and scanned the ground, then shot up with a revelation, The right! It’s the right road! The villas here usually have sedans, and that van’s tires were 185R14s! It’s these tracks!

Jumping back into the car, Jay urged, Drive! Just drive!

As Kieran took the turn, he asked, You know your tires, huh?

Jay grinned with a touch of pride, Oh yeah, you pick up on these thingsyou know, just from around. He scratched his head, almost spilling more than he intended.

Heath’s gaze was sharp; he knew Jay was no ordinary Joeno ID, no papers, but with skills that didn’t add up.

But right now, Heath’s only concern was finding Aurora.

They drove through the villa district, Kieran checking each house for the van.

Meanwhile, Aurora struggled to sit up in a room, her head spinning from the ether she’d been smothered with, her body limp. She tightened her grip on her clothes, realizing this wasn’t a hotel roomit had the look of someone’s personal space, with a coffee table and furniture.

Aurora searched the room and found a fruit knife, which she clutched tightly, hiding behind the door.

As the doorknob turned and a man’s leg stepped in, Aurora didn’t hesitate. She slammed the door shut, causing the man to scream and kick it open.

Thrown off balance by the door’s impact, Aurora stumbled backward, her vision fading to black. When she opened her eyes again, Silas’s face was looming over her.

Silas? The mere thought of him was enough to make her sick. She had hoped he’d given up on her after so long, but here she was, kidnapped to his home?

Silas, nursing his leg that got caught in the door, approached with a sleazy grin, Oh? Still got fight in you after the drug? I like that spirit!

Before Aurora could dodge, Silas grabbed her and threw her onto the bed, leaving her disoriented and fading in and out of consciousness.

Silas loomed over her with a laugh, taunting, I’ve been thinking about you for a long time! Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you’re well taken

care of!

If you lay a finger on me, Silas, you won’t live to see tomorrow!Aurora spat out through clenched teeth.

Silas seemed to relish the challenge, caressing her cheek while he sneered, Who in the capital dares to mess with the Song family? Even if I killed you right now, the Pendletons wouldn’t dare to cross me!

What about the Fairbanks?Aurora shot back suddenly. What about Heath Fairbank?

Chapter 127

Heath Fairbank? Silas paused, thrown off.

Yes, Heath Fairbank! If you touch me, he’ll have your head today! Aurora declared, holding her head high despite her weakness.

She was powerless to escape the grip of a grown man, her only bet was that Silas feared Heath enough not to harm her, hoping to buy some time until Jay could find her.

Silas studied her, his hand lingering on her smooth cheek. Aurora turned her head in disgust, but Silas grabbed her chin, mocking, Heath Fairbank? Everyone knows he’s indifferent to women. Do you really think he’d oppose the Song family for you? Who are you trying to

scare?

Ignoring her struggles, he ripped off her shirt, revealing her pale pink bra against her skin. His eyes glazed over with desire, and he leaned in to kiss her, undeterred by her resistance.

As he fumbled with her clothes, thankfully, her tight jeans bought her some time.

Aurora, fighting nausea, reached for the ashtray on the nightstand and smashed it onto Silas’s head. He screamed, touching his bleeding

scalp.

Enraged, he slapped her hard across the face, Aurora, don’t play hard to get! It’s your luck that I fancy you!

The slap left her face burning, her head ringing. She stumbled from the bed to the floor, her hand finding the cold fruit knife she’d spotted earlier.

Gripping the knife, she stared down Silas, her last line of defense. If Jay couldn’t make it in time, she’d have to save herself.

Silas pinned her against the wall with a smirk, What, you’re going to kill me?

Let me go, and I’ll pretend this never happened,Aurora said, narrowing her eyes.

Silas sniffed her neck, his laughter growing, I finally catch a beauty like you, and you think I’d let you go without having my fun? That’s a loss I’m not willing to take.

He smeared his bloody hand on her shirt, A little blood doesn’t scare me. I love the thrill of the struggle!
