Me And My Billionaire Husband (Aurora and Heath) novel Chapter 234

The man laughed and said, If you don’t come in first, you’ll have to be my girlfriend!

Aurora shook her head, No way, I already have a boyfriend.

Aren’t you confident you’ll take first place?the man teased her.

Still no, Aurora said, frowning stubbornly.

Heath meant a lot to her; she couldn’t gamble with that.

Fine, if you win, I’ll treat Zane to a week of meat, the man agreed easily, not making a fuss.

Aurora nodded, walked over, picked up the gun, and without hardly aiming, fired with a bang.

The first shot hit the ninering.

Zane and a few other men around were stunned. It must be luck, they all thought.

Bang-Without much aiming again, she fired a second shot.

The second shot hit the tenring.

Zane was speechless.

Why did he feel like this was a repeat of the time Aurora thrashed him at the racetrack?

Bang- The third shot, right in the tenring again!

Aurora seemed to shoot effortlessly, without needing to aim or look at the target. The bullets obediently hit the bullseye.

Zane was dumbfounded.

Could someone tell him if there was anything Aurora couldn’t do?

After the round, Aurora emerged as the undisputed first place. She winked at the man who had challenged her earlier, So, about treating

us?

The man numbly nodded, then elbowed Zane, Where did you find this girl?

Zane, covering his face, exclaimed, Bro! Does she look like just any girl to you? What kind of girl is this fierce?

Scratching his head, the man pulled Zane up, Let’s go eat!

At the cafeteria, the man sat with Zane and Aurora. She ate quietly, head down, while Zane, relishing his meaty meal, was too busy eating to talk. The table was unusually quiet.

Chapter 234

In the afternoon, there was a weighted run. Aurora, sandbags tied on, ran five kilometers with the men without a word of complaint

Tane was thoroughly impressed. She was like a devil incarnate, no wonder she had tamed Heath, that godly guy.

Aurora was actually exhausted. Despite her rigorous training, her body, having been weak and sickly since childhood, was nowhere near as strong as Olivia’s iron like constitution. The day’s training left her tired.

Moreover, she was still recovering from a recent gunshot wound to her shoulder. The day’s exertion made the healing wound throb with pain.

But she persevered. In these moments of extreme fatigue and pain, she felt closest to both Aurora and Olivia. It was a twisted nostalgia for those grueling training days, much like how carefree college students sometimes inexplicably miss their allnighters.

It seemed the pain she had experienced didn’t count as suffering at all.

At the end of the day’s training, Zane had nothing to say. He quietly stayed in the barracks, promising Aurora he’d train hard and find his

groove.

As they left, the darkskinned man insisted on escorting Aurora out. At the door, a Rolls Royce waited, its presence radiating luxury.

He nudged Zane, Is she that rich?

Zane was speechless.

As the car door opened, a man in a suit stepped out, his presence more commanding than the expensive car behind him.

Heath approached Aurora, frowning slightly, Gone wild for a day?

Aurora pouted, What do you mean wild? I was working!

Heath sighed, pulling her into an embrace. Aurora made a low grunt, and he looked at her shoulder, asking with concern, Does your wound hurt?

Aurora sheepishly shrank back, nodding without a word.

Heath bent down and swept her off her feet, glancing at Zane, he said sternly, Stay a few more days, it’ll be good for your acting skills.

Zane, bewildered, thought, I’m innocent! I didn’t cause her injury!

Waitit was him who nudged Aurora to train

But stillhe felt wrongly accused!

Heath carried Aurora into the car, leaving Zane to obediently return to the barracks.

On the way back, Aurora, nestled in Heath’s arms, asked, Why did you come?

Heath looked at her and replied, If I hadn’t, were you planning to stay with Zane?

Aurora shook her head, I wasn’t going to stay, just wanted to scare him a bit.

Heath massaged his forehead, Honey, there are other ways. Your wound isn’t fully healed.

Aurora stuck out her tongue playfully, Got it! Won’t happen again.

Though Aurora downplayed her shoulder pain, Heath remained concerned and insisted on taking her to Lysander for a checkup, ensuring her wound was alright.
