Aurora pouted, asking, “This Director Mars, is it a man or a woman?”
Heath paused, pulling Aurora closer, questioning. “What does it matter if it’s a man? And what if it’s a woman?”
“A woman? If it’s a woman, I’ll- Aurora’s words cut off abruptly, too embarrassed to continue.
“And then what?” Heath raised an eyebrow at her.
“I’ll chop you up!” Aurora glared at him, her temper flaring.
“Oh, getting bold, are we? Who told you I have another woman here?” Heath teased, pinching her slender waist.
Aurora huffed, “The receptionist at the front desk said… you have lots of women looking for you every day…”
Wrapping his arms around her, Heath said, “Later, I’ll have Kieran fire her.”
Aurora pursed her lips, “No need, she was probably just talking nonsense.”
Heath shook his head, “Discussing my private life at the company is against the rules anyway. She should be fired.”
Aurora didn’t stop him; she wasn’t fond of that receptionist anyway, always acting as if no one could get close to Heath.
Sitting on the couch, Heath asked, “Did you come here just to cheer me up? Kieran said you came to talk business!”
Aurora smiled, her eyes narrowing, “Yes, to cheer you up, and also to kindly ask you for a meal.”
Leaning back on the couch, his legs crossed, Heath inquired, “Let’s hear it then. What business?”
Aurora straightened her slightly wrinkled clothes and handed over a document to Heath, “Aren’t you planning to open a new mall? Could you… reserve a store for our brand?”
Flipping through the document, Heath asked, “You and Vespera are starting your own brand?”
Nodding, Aurora leaned closer, “Yes, Vespera’s designs are really popular. We’re looking to expand our development space.”
Heath then adopted a more formal demeanor, “Sit properly, let’s have a serious talk. There are many businesses wanting to get into Fairbank’s mall. Why should I choose your fledgling brand?”
Aurora immediately sat up straight, adopting a businesslike air, “Vespera’s red dress sold out in ten seconds on New Year’s Eve. That says a lot. Her designs are fashionable and grand, and with Cheryl as the spokesperson, it’s sure to be a hit. We won’t let you down. If you are willing to lend us the production line, we can even take a smaller cut of the profits. Our main goal is to ensure quality and make the brand known…”

Chapter 267
Aurora rambled on earnestly, detailing the advantages and disadvantages seriously.
“Rory, Heath called her.
Hmm? Aurora paused, puzzled, looking at Heath.
Come here, give me a kiss,” leath said.
Aurora: “…”

Who was it that said we need to be serious and have a proper conversation?
Aurora sat still, and Heath said, looking at her, “Aurora, your man is a big boss. You need to learn to use the resources at your disposal…”
Aurora blinked, “What resources?”
Heath massaged his temples, pointing at himself, “Me. Make me happy, and you can have as many stores as you want.”
Aurora Pendleton: “…So, Big Boss, are you happy now?”
Heath took a sip of water, responding, “I suppose so.”
“Happy enough to sign off a store for me?” Aurora looked at Heath with puppy eyes.
Heath shook his head, “Not yet.”
Aurora scratched her head, saying, “If I join Fairbank’s mall, I’d be your partner. Attending the Fairbank end–of–year gala as a partner shouldn’t be a problem, right?”
Heath raised an eyebrow at her, “You are threatening me?”
Aurora quickly waved her hands, “No, no, of course not. Just negotiating, merely negotiating…”
Heath nodded, “Alright, remember to attend the gala.”
Aurora grinned and leaned closer, “So, are you happy enough now to sign off a store for me?”
Heath picked up the document and walked to his desk, “It’ll do.”
Aurora jumped up excitedly, “YES!”
Ultimately, Fairbank Corp and Fairview Media signed a contract. Fairbank Corp collaborated with Fairview Media to mass–produce clothing using Fairbank’s production line. The store was rented to Fairview Media on an annual basis, with the end–of–year profits divided, four to Fairbank’s and six to Fairview.

Chapter 267
Aurora was very satisfied with the contract. Fairbank’s production line guaranteed quality and quantity, and the mall’s foot traffic and
high–spending demographic promised significant revenue for the store.
After signing the contract, Aurora carefully stored it away like a treasure. Then, bouncing with joy, she ran into Heath’s arms, planted
quick kiss on his face, and dashed off before he could react.
Entering the elevator, Aurora’s phone chimed. She checked to find a message from Heath: “Don’t run, or others might think I’ve taken
advantage of you in the office.”
Aurora: “…Nonsense!”
Heath: “It’s just business, don’t rush, walk slowly.”
Aurora: “…”
Forget it! Considering the favor Heath had done for her, she wouldn’t bother arguing over such verbal matters with him.
Even if she wanted to argue, she couldn’t outdo Heath.
Returning to the studio with the contract, Vespera was thrilled. For years, she had lived for the Thornfield family, for her father, as if for the first time, she could do something according to her own wishes!
Aurora and Vespera discussed what to name their new brand. Considering Vespera was the main designer, Aurora suggested “Vespera“.
Vespera disagreed. Her journey as a designer, her achievements, were all thanks to Aurora and Cheryl’s encouragement and support. Thus,
she wanted the brand named “Aurora & Vespera“.
Aurora and Cheryl had no objections, so they commissioned a logo design, registered it, and officially launched their brand, belonging to
Vespera and them.
The news sparked heated discussions online. Cheryl’s favorite designer launching her own brand and securing a store in Fairbank’s new mall was a bombshell, shaking not only the entertainment industry but also drawing the business world’s attention!
