Back at the hotel, Aurora and Jay were deep into tracing the movements of the drug trafficking ring. Why would they kidnap Heath? If it

were about revenge, Eamon would have been the logical target!

Watching Aurora’s fingers fly over the keyboard, her prowess in hacking into various cameras and websites left Jay momentarily stunned.

‘Aurora, you couldn’t possibly be Olivia, could you?”

Her intense focus, her hacking skills, and the way she had turned the tables on Eamon earlier didn’t just resemble Olivia–they made Jay

almost believe he was seeing Olivia herself, leading them into battle once more.

Aurora’s fingers paused, and she replied, “How could that be? Would Olivia be as clumsy as I am?”

Jay pondered for a moment and conceded that, although Aurora was formidable now, she still fell short of Olivia in her prime, a veritable

myth from Abyss.

Aurora and Jay pulled an all–nighter scouring for the criminal group’s location, desperate to find any trace of Heath on the surveillance

footage.

It was a race against time. Who knew what those depraved individuals were doing to Heath? A moment’s delay, and he might vanish.

In the dead of night, with only the sound of their typing filling the hotel room, Jay suddenly shouted, “Found him!”

“Where?” Aurora rushed over.

Jay turned the laptop to her, “The last sighting was at the airport last night. They took him onto a private plane.”

“A private plane? There should be a flight log. Where did it go?” Aurora pressed.

Jay hesitated, then said, “Cambodia.”

Aurora froze. Was one of the group’s bases, or perhaps one of them, in Cambodia?

If it was in Cambodia, Aurora could find those hideouts with her eyes closed, having mapped out every location there for a mission once.

But Cambodia was the last place on Earth she wanted to revisit. Who would want to return to a place where they died?

Yet, with Heath there, she had no choice. Aurora’s voice was cold as she said, “Book the tickets. We’re going to Cambodia.”

“What about Jasper and Carly?‘ Jay asked.

“Tell them to change course. We’ll meet in Cambodia, Aurora instructed.

Jay nodded, messaging Jasper and Carly, then he and Aurora packed up and left for the airport.

They had barely made it to the airport when Eamon’s men arrived at the hotel room, now littered with energy drink cans and in complete disarray–a testament to the relentless work done there without a moment’s rest.

Yet, Eamon couldn’t easily trust Aurora. Too mysterious, she was a risk he couldn’t allow near Heath.

A minion reported, “Boss, we’ve got news from the hospital. Kieran’s awake. Miss Aurora visited him.”

Eamon, taken aback, then coldly declared, “To the hospital!”

Upon entering the room, he fixed Kieran with a frosty gaze, “Did you tell Aurora the details of the incident?”

Kieran met Eamon’s furious gaze and nodded silently, “Eamon, you have your perspective, and the boss has his. If he trusts Miss Aurora,

so do I.”

“Foolish! Do you wish death upon Heath?” Eamon glared.

Kieran, clutching the blanket, shook his head, “With the boss’s fate uncertain, I believe Miss Aurora will bring him back.”

Frustrated, Eamon nearly lunged at Kieran. If Aurora’s involvement in Heath’s disappearance was true, this was akin to releasing the tiger

back into the wild, making her capture thereafter impossible.

By the time Eamon got the lead from Kieran and pinpointed the culprits‘ location, Aurora and Jay were already en route to Cambodia.
