Upon hearing someone enter, Heath, with his eyes closed, said, “I won’t tell you where Eamon is.”
Ludi gave a sinister chuckle and replied, “I’ve got a wedding to celebrate today, no mood to interrogate you. Let me introduce you to our VIP, the infamous Olivia, have you heard of her?”
Heath’s body jolted, and he struggled to sit up, clearly in pain from his injuries, making even the act of sitting an effort.
Heath looked past Ludi and when he saw the girl wearing a mask, his expression froze.
He recognized Aurora at a glance. The young girl, clad in black leggings that accentuated her slender waist and smooth legs, looked more mature in her dark red leather jacket, and with the black mask, she was undeniably sexy and alluring.
But Heath knew this was Aurora.
“Is… is she Olivia?” Heath asked.
Ludi laughed, “Yes! A top international assassin has joined my team. One day, I’ll find Eamon and make him pay in blood for his crimes! Olivia, I’ve heard your assassination record is spotless. You should be confident about this little task, right?”
Aurora’s gaze was unwavering as she stared at Heath and said, “Of course, it’s a piece of cake.”
Heath looked at Aurora with a sarcastic smile. The girl he had gone to great lengths to protect was far stronger and colder than he had realized. Now, as a prisoner, she was the executioner with the butcher’s knife.
Heath suddenly stood up, intending to approach Aurora. He wanted to know why; he couldn’t believe she was Olivia, nor could he accept
that she was a spy.
Ludi pushed Heath back and kicked him in the chest, saying, “Stay put! Once I find Eamon, I’ll let you both die together!”
Ludi might have hit Heath’s wound, causing him to collapse against the wall, unable to stand up for a long time.
Aurora clenched her fists, her fingers digging so hard into her palms they were on the verge of drawing blood. She smirked and said,
“Such a weakling, is he worth sending so many people to watch?”
Heath, leaning against the wall, watched the girl’s retreating figure, his conviction wavering. Perhaps this was the true Aurora? Otherwise, what was the girl doing in this godforsaken place in Cambodia?
Moreover, how did she get in? And why was Ludi, a ruthless drug dealer, so deferential to her?
Ludi followed Aurora out, laughingly saying, “You might not know, but Mr. Fairbank here is quite skilled! He’s just not much of a fighter
because of his injuries, but we can’t let our guard down!”

Aurora narrowed her eyes and asked, “If he’s so skilled, how did he get injured?
“When I captured him, I had people ram his car, and my men beat him with sticks. He’s been whipped during these two days of interrogation, and he’s afraid I’ll lace his food with drugs, so he refuses to eat what we give him. He probably struggles just to stand up
now,” Ludi boasted.
Aurora curled her lips into a smile and said, “Is that so? He’s quite the tough one, isn’t he? How about you hand him over to me, and I’ll
help you interrogate him?”
Ludi hesitated, saying, “That’s too much trouble for you, isn’t it?”
Aurora’s face turned cold as she said, “I’m just bored. If you’re afraid I’ll steal your prisoner, forget it.”
“No, no! Not at all! you would never steal a prisoner. He’s locked up right here; you can come and interrogate him anytime!” Ludi quickly
replied with a forced smile.
Aurora’s expression softened slightly as she said, “We’ll see. I’m going back first.”
In a Cambodian town, Jasper and Carly had just arrived at their designated meeting spot. Upon entering, they saw only Jay, and Carly
asked, “Jay, where’s Aurora?”
Jay hung his head and said, “She left early, went to the base.”
