Chapter 33
:
Aurora arrived at the sales office, donning oversized sunglasses that hid most of her face, leaving only her delicate chin exposed.
A sales rep immediately approached her. “Miss, what kind of property are you interested in? Any preferred locations?”
“I want a villa, Aurora declared.

The sales rep’s jaw nearly dropped. Though their clientele was generally wealthy, it was rare for such a young girl to ask for a villa right off the bat.
Quickly ushering Aurora into the VIP room, the sales rep served her tea and pulled up property listings on a tablet. “Miss Aurora, we have a wide range of properties. How big of a villa are you looking for? Do you have a budget or a preferred location? I can recommend the most suitable options.”
Aurora skimmed through the listings, most of which were priced above 5 million. Her current budget was nowhere near enough. She’d have to make a down payment and figure out the rest later.
“I don’t need a prime location, but I do need a lot of space. There are five or six people in my family,” Aurora said.
The sales rep filtered the options and handed the tablet back to Aurora. “If you’re looking for a large villa, most are in the suburbs. There are two over 300 square meters in the east and one in the west, all similarly priced.”
Aurora pondered for a moment. “Which area has better transportation?”
“The west is more convenient, closer to both the airport and the docks. Though it’s not as bustling as downtown,” the sales rep replied.
Aurora checked the price-4 million in full. “Can I pay in installments?”
The sales rep hesitated. “For apartments, yes. But our suburban villas are already priced low. However, if you can provide proof of income or assets, we can make an exception.”
Aurora facepalmed. She was a high school student; where would she get proof of income? And she couldn’t reveal her identity as a Pendleton heiress; her grandfather would interrogate her if he found out she bought a villa.
With Jasper and the others moving in soon, she had no choice but to pay in full. She’d have to borrow money, and the only wealthy person she knew was Heath Fairbank.
‘Can I make a call?” Aurora asked.
“Of course, Miss Aurora. Take your time,” the sales rep said, stepping out and closing the door behind him.
After much internal debate, Aurora dialed Heath’s number. Just as she was about to hang up, a magnetic male voice answered, “Hello?”
“Heath, are you busy?” Aurora inquired.
Heath glanced at the executives waiting for his meeting to start. “Not busy, go ahead.”
The executives: “.

‘Um, I need money urgently. Could you lend me some?” Aurora stammered.
“How much? Heath asked.
Aurora gritted her teeth. “3 million…”
Heath: “…”
Is this what you call ‘some money’?
“Wait a moment. I’ll have Kieran transfer it to you,” Heath said.
Wait, what? Just like that? No hesitation to lend 3 million?
“I’ll write you an IOU. I’ll pay you back as soon as I can,” Aurora offered.
“Mm-hmm,” Heath agreed.
“I’m borrowing this privately, could you not tell Grandpa…” Aurora added.
“Depends on my mood,” Heath replied.
“So, how’s your mood right now…” Aurora asked, trying to curry favor.
“Not bad,” Heath drawled.

The executives below exchanged sly glances. Clearly, the boss was in love!
Kieran shrugged. It was obviously a call from Miss Aurora.
After hanging up, Heath looked at his phone, flipped through some documents, and said, “Kieran, transfer 3 million to her. Now, let’s start the meeting.”
Kieran cheerfully left the conference room to make the transfer.
Wow, Miss Aurora is something else. The boss said he’d give her money, and he did. They’re both young and good-looking-a perfect
match!
A notification chimed on Aurora’s phone: “Your account ending in 2459 has received a transfer of 3,000,000,”
Aurora grinned. Heath Fairbank was practically a money tree!
