Me And My Billionaire Husband
Chapter 59

Knock, knock, knock. The sound of knocking echoed through the room. Aurora got out of bed and opened the door. The housekeeper Mr. Leen stood outside, holding a tray.
“Mr. Leen, what’s up? It’s pretty late,” Aurora asked.
“Miss Aurora, you didn’t eat much at dinner. Your grandpa was worried you might get hungry, so he asked me to bring you some food,” Leen explained.
“Thanks, Grandpa. And thanks for the trouble, Mr. Leen.” Aurora stepped aside to let him in. Leen walked into the room, tray in hand.
“Miss Aurora, I’ve warmed up some milk for you and brought some snacks. Have something before you go to sleep. Don’t starve yourself,” Leen set the tray on the table and advised her.
“Alright, got it. Thanks,” Aurora responded.
“Miss Aurora, you’ve had a tough past, and it weighs on your grandpa’s heart. Sometimes he wants to make it up to you, so don’t turn him down. He’s getting old; he might not always think things through,” Leen suddenly added.
Aurora looked up and met Leen’s earnest gaze. She smiled, “I understand, thanks for the heads–up,”
“I’ll head out then. Remember to eat,” Leen said as he left.
“Will do.”
Leen’s real motive wasn’t just to bring her a late–night snack. During dinner, Aurora had politely declined her grandpa’s offer to give her some company shares. Leen was here to give her a nudge.
Aurora saw through this. Her grandpa felt genuinely guilty about her past and sincerely wanted to give her shares for her protection. It
wasn’t a test.
She should’ve been happy about getting some shares, but the thought of her aging grandpa made her feel a bit melancholy.
Aurora sipped her milk and glanced at the snacks on the plate. She wasn’t in the mood. She walked to the living room foyer, remembering the chestnut cake Heath had bought for her. It was still in the cabinet.
As she grabbed the cake and turned around, she jumped, “Little Fish, what are you doing up so late?”
‘Miss Aurora, it’s only nine. I was just helping the maids clean up the kitchen,” Little Fish replied.
Noticing the chestnut cake in Aurora’s hand, Little Fish grinned, “Did Heath buy that?”
Aurora: “…Yeah.”
“What do you think of Heath?” Little Fish probed.
“What do you mean ‘what do I think‘?” Aurora walked back to her room, head down.

Little Fish followed her, chattering away, “I mean, like, his character, his background. Don’t you think Heath’s been really good to you?”
Aurora sat down on the carpet, propped her chin on her hands, and pondered. Had Heath been good to her?
Seemed like it.
He’d saved her life, lent her millions, gifted her dresses, and even helped her deal with Madeline and her daughter.
Since her rebirth, Heath had been the kindest person to her. So good to her that Aurora felt like if she ever decided to off someone, Heath would probably be the guy handing her the knife.
Seeing Little Fish staring at her expectantly, Aurora took a bite of the chestnut cake and mumbled, “He’s alright, I guess.”
“Do you like him,?” Little Fish asked.
Aurora choked on her cake, coughing violently. Little Fish quickly handed her some milk, and she finally caught her breath.
“Miss Aurora… You don’t actually like Heath, do you?” Little Fish inquired.
“No, stop talking nonsense. Take this stuff away; I’m going to bed,” Aurora put down the cake, stood up, and walked into the bathroom.
Little Fish sighed, cleaned up, and left Aurora’s room.
After her shower, Aurora found that Little Fish had cleaned up and left, but the chestnut cake still sat on the table.
She crawled back into bed, pulling the covers over her head, her mind a whirlwind.
Did she like Heath Fairbank?
Probably not?
Heath had been good to her.
But he’d never said he liked her, right?
Enough is enough. Aurora tossed and turned until midnight, finally falling asleep.
The next day.
After tidying up and having breakfast with her grandpa, Aurora left the house,
Today was the day she’d agreed to meet Jasper Bennett; they were coming to Seaview.
Dressed in a black trench coat and sunglasses, she even borrowed one of her grandpa’s cars and arrived early at the airport.
At ten o’clock, the flight landed. Aurora stood at the arrival gate, eagerly scanning the crowd. She spotted four people walking out.
Two guys in the front wore colorful T–shirts and pants, with sneakers to match. The two girls behind them were similarly vibrant.

Aurora cringed… The four of them looked like a walking tourist group.
Holding a rose in her hand, she waved it. The four people saw it and walked toward her.
This was the secret signal she’d agreed upon with Jasper Bennett: a rose to represent Olivia.
The tall guy leading the group approached and examined her. Aurora took a deep breath and removed her sunglasses.
“Olivia?! All four were stunned.
Aurora smiled, “I’m not Olivia, Let’s get in the car first. I’ll explain everything once we’re home.”
Seeing her face, identical to Olivia’s, they were already half–convinced. They followed her into the car.
Aurora drove them to a villa in the western suburbs. Once inside, they dropped their bags and stared at her. If she didn’t explain today, she probably wouldn’t make it out of this villa.
