Aurora sighed, “Look, I’m not Olivia. I’m Aurora, her twin sister. We were separated when we were young and only reunited a few months

ago.”

“So where’s Olivia? Why didn’t she come to pick us up?” asked a sunny–faced boy.

Aurora glanced at him. This was Jay Bennett, a guy who didn’t even have a name when he first joined Abyss. It was Aurora who suggested he take on the surname of Jasper Bennett, making him Jay Bennett.

“She’s dead. I’ve already told Jasper about it,” Aurora said.

The tall man leading the group, Jasper, nodded. “I checked. Over a month ago, Isabella Whitmore did go to Cambodia, and that’s when Olivia went missing.”

“Olivia told me that Isabella has always been hostile towards her. Now that she’s succeeded, she’ll come after you guys–Olivia’s trusted allies. Mike and Arno have already been implicated. You can’t be in danger anymore,” Aurora warned.

“But why help us? We’re just a bunch of fugitives without even real identities,” asked Carly, a blonde with blue eyes, standing next to

Jasper.

“Olivia’s gone. I have to protect you guys in her place,” Aurora stated.

“That’s it? Just like that?” Carly questioned.

“Just like that. I bought this villa. You guys can stay here for now. If you have other plans, feel free to leave. If you want to stay, I’ll figure something out. The main thing is to keep you safe,” Aurora assured them.

Finally, a bespectacled girl named Amy, who had been quiet all along, spoke up. “I think Miss Aurora means no harm. Let’s stay here for

now.”

The others nodded and went off to find their rooms.

Aurora sat in the living room on the first floor, letting out a sigh of relief.

She’d managed to get through this hurdle. As long as these four were safe, she could focus on dealing with Isabella Whitmore.

After settling everyone in, Aurora returned to the old Pendleton house.

At that moment, Kieran knocked on Heath’s door.

“Come in,” Heath said, looking down at some documents.

“Sir, people have moved into the villa owned by Miss Aurora,” Kieran reported urgently.

“Who?” Heath inquired.

Kieran laid out some photos in front of Heath. “Two men and two women. Miss Aurora personally picked them up from the airport and settled them into the villa. After that, she returned to the Pendleton house.”

Heath looked at the photos. Aurora was wearing a black trench coat, oversized sunglasses, and holding vibrant roses. Behind her were four young people who looked like tourists.

“Did you find out who they are?” Heath asked.

“I tried, but couldn’t find anything,” Kieran lowered his head.

“What do you mean you couldn’t find anything?” Heath was puzzled.

I checked the flight records for that day. They flew directly from New York to Seaview. Their IDs are fake. I’ve compared their faces with all available databases. No records, no names, no identities. It’s like they appeared out of thin air,” Kieran was equally puzzled.

Heath was stunned. Four people with no identities couldn’t possibly be illegal immigrants, could they?

He stared at the photos, focusing on Aurora’s delicate face and the roses in her hand.

Roses… Olivia…

“Keep a close eye on them. Report any updates immediately,” Heath ordered.

“Yes, sir. What about Miss Aurora? Should we keep an eye on her too?” Kieran hesitated.

Heath paused before saying, “Hmm.”

Kieran left the room, sighing and shaking his head.

Miss Aurora was mysterious, and the boss wouldn’t ask directly. She wouldn’t confess either. It felt like something big was about to happen…
