No choice but to order takeout, Aurora and her friends sat in the dining room, celebrating her graduation with delivery food.

Munching on a chicken leg, Aurora asked, “You guys got your IDs sorted?”

Jay took a swig of beer and grinned, “All set, man. Carly’s a top–tier hacker. Making me a fake ID was a piece of cake.”

Aurora blinked, “Just for you? What about the rest of us?”

Jasper wiped his hands and said, “Look, we talked it over. Carly and I have too many old enemies. Staying here would be a risk for you, and we’ve got unfinished business. So we can’t stick around.”

Aurora fell silent. She thought Jasper and the gang would always be with her. Just when they’d reunited, they were splitting up again.

Carly chuckled, “Don’t be sad. You can hit us up anytime. We’re just going to take care of some stuff. We’ll be back when the time’s right.”

“When are you leaving?” Aurora asked.

“Tomorrow morning. We’re heading to Europe to dig up some dirt on the Whitmores,” Jasper replied.

Aurora forced a smile and raised her beer, “Safe travels!”

After a hearty meal, Jasper and Carly went to pack. Aurora returned to the old house, feeling down. She washed up and lay in bed, lost in thought.

Just then, her phone rang. She picked it up, and a familiar male voice came through. Her nose tingled, “Hello?”

“Congrats, Aurora,” said Heath.

“Congrats on what?” Aurora retorted.

“Top of your class, Heath replied.

“You’re late, and no gift? Where’s the sincerity?” Aurora wasn’t pleased and let him have it.

“What gift do you want?‘ Heath asked.

‘I want you to bring me a gift right now! Bet you can’t do that!” Aurora challenged.

“Right now? Well…‘ Heath hesitated.

‘Forget it, Aurora was about to hang up.

“Step outside. I have your gift,” Heath suddenly said.

Aurora: “??? Outside? Where?”

As she turned to leave, Heath pulled out a document from the car and handed it to her, “What’s this?”

“Your other gift, Heath said.

Aurora opened it. It was an internship agreement with Harmony Media!

“Is this for me?” Aurora was stunned.

Heath raised an eyebrow, “Who else? Me?”

Aurora stuck out her tongue, “How did you get this?”

Heath smiled, “Don’t worry about it. Just sign it, and you’re an intern at Harmony.”

Aurora nodded dumbly. Heath asked, “Happy now? Give me a hug.”

Aurora glared at him and ran back into the house.

Heath drove away only after seeing the light in her window turn on.

The next day, Aurora mentioned her plans at breakfast, “Grandpa, I’m going to the capital for an internship this summer.”

Her grandpa chuckled, “Go, go. You can go with Heath tomorrow.”

Aurora: … Grandpa, I didn’t say I was going with him.”

“You didn’t, but he came to pick you up, didn’t he? Even put the bracelet on you. A grown woman can’t stay at home forever- Grandpa laughed.

“Grandpa! I’m not talking to you anymore!” Aurora focused on her food.

Her grandpa and Leen laughed heartily. Aurora finished her meal and went back to her room.

In the afternoon, Little Fish came to help her pack, “Miss Aurora, are you really going to the capital?”

Aurora nodded, “Yeah, why?”

“But why intern at Harmony? Evelyn works there; she might bully you,” Little Fish was worried.

“We’ll see who ends up bullying who!” Aurora laughed.
