Daxton was stunned for a moment. Kieran glared at him, “What are you staring at?”

Daxton extended his hand to shake hers but saw that he was covered in dirt from the fall. Not wanting to dirty Aurora’s hand, he pulled

back.

But halfway through, Aurora grabbed his hand and said, “You haven’t introduced yourself yet.”

Daxton awkwardly shook her hand, pulled it back, and rubbed it, “Hi, I’m Daxton.”

Aurora took out a business card from her bag and handed it to him, “I’m in charge of Fairview Media. I’m here to discuss a contract with

you.”

Daxton took the simple card that read, “Fairview Media, Aurora Pendleton.”

He lowered his head and said, “I won’t sign, thank you for your kindness, I’m sorry.”

He seemed too ashamed to look up and began to clean up his messy stall and broken guitar.

“Is it because of Silas Song? Afraid he’ll retaliate?” Aurora asked.

Daxton kept his head down, “As you’ve seen, Silas is the heir of the Song family. I can’t afford to mess with him.”

“So you plan to keep your mouth shut and not sing for the rest of your life? Let him beat you up every time he feels like it, even your mother?” Aurora’s tone was somewhat mocking.

Daxton stood up angrily, “I won’t! I won’t let him bully my mom!”

Aurora smiled, “With you like this? You can’t even protect a guitar, how will you protect your mom?”

Daxton knew Aurora was trying to provoke him, but what could he do? Even if he entered the entertainment industry, with Silas suppressing him, he wouldn’t have a future.

Aurora was puzzled, “Huh? Skyline Media?”
