Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 1119

Josefina had a gut feeling that Kania's plans might somehow involve her, though she couldn't quite put her finger on it.

"Hey, Kania," Josefina began, "Honestly, I'm not entirely sure what's going on yet. The investigation is still in progress. I'll keep you posted as soon as I know more."

"Thanks for coming to tell me, Josie," Kania replied warmly.

"I'm actually here to pick up a few things Uncle Duke used. I need to test them, and I'll send you the results," Josefina explained.

"Sure, let me show you to his room."

Kania led Josefina upstairs, gathering items her eldest son had used in the past and those he was currently using.

When they finished, Josefina headed downstairs, where preparations for a fondue feast were in full swing. Each person had their own little pot, and the table was spread with a delightful array of fresh ingredients—leafy greens and thinly sliced beef and lamb.

Sylvie bounced over excitedly. "Josie, you should stay for dinner! I saw your post about craving fondue, and that's exactly what we're having."

"Yeah, Josie, everything's ready," Claire added with a warm smile.

Josefina couldn't resist and decided to stay.

Just as she was about to sit down, a servant announced that Caiden had arrived.

Caiden walked in, holding some supplements, clearly surprised to see Josefina there. She wore an apple green sweater with black pants, which beautifully complemented her fair skin.

"Josefina," Caiden said, both surprised and delighted.

Sylvie asked, "You two know each other?"

"My grandfather knows Hunter, and I've been helping Hunter with his health," Josefina explained, and everyone nodded in understanding.

Caiden set the supplements down. "My granddad asked me to bring these over for Kania."

"Please thank your grandfather for me," Kania said kindly.

Lucius invited Caiden to join them for dinner, and they all settled down to eat.
