Oliver stormed into the room, grabbing Rowan by the arm and yanking the chair from his grasp, tossing it aside with a loud crash.
“You think you can lay a finger on her without going through me first?” Oliver's voice boomed with authority.
Josefina, eyes wide with shock, asked, “How did you get here so fast?”
“I’ve been keeping tabs on this whole situation. The moment I knew you were in danger, I rushed over,” he replied.
Oliver was taken aback to find Rowan in the secret room.
The fact that Rowan had connections with The Bull was something Oliver never imagined.
“Oliver!” Rowan growled, seething with anger.
Oliver stood protectively beside Josefina, giving Rowan a steely glare, “What do you want? Even if you call me, I’m telling you, you’re not touching Josie!”
Rowan was fuming, practically choking on his own rage.
Oliver took Josefina’s hand gently, “Let’s get you out of here. I’ll handle it.”
Josefina nodded, “Just… be careful, please.”
With a reassuring nod, Oliver led Josefina out.
She quickly texted Luke, suspecting that Sydney was behind the chaos.
Sydney had somehow gotten wind of The Moon and was plotting to seize it.
But how did Sydney find out?
Josefina pondered over this mystery, unable to figure it out.
Before long, Oliver came out, guiding Josefina away.
…
In the car, Oliver carefully buckled Josefina’s seatbelt.
“How’d you handle it?” she asked.
Oliver chuckled, “Called the police.”
Josefina was taken aback.
