Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 784

"The fire's too intense, and I can't seem to put it out," Oliver's voice carried a hint of frustration mixed with a playful undertone.

Josefina smirked, "Oliver, have you gone mad?"

"Josie, it's you who's driving me crazy."

As Oliver leaned in, Josefina took a step back, "Oliver, you really need a shower—you smell like you've run a marathon."

Oliver chuckled and stepped back, "Why don't you grab a bite? I'll freshen up real quick."

Josefina nodded, and they both made their way out.

...

When Josefina returned to the dining room, she was greeted by a table overflowing with food, like a grand brunch buffet.

"Josie, I asked the chef to whip up some breakfast. He's really pulled out all the stops. You're such a rare guest, he wanted to make sure you left impressed."

Josefina was taken aback.

Seriously? All this effort?

"Why would your chef go to such lengths?"

"He's hoping his cooking will keep you coming back for more."

Josefina was speechless.

Is everyone just itching for Oliver to tie the knot?

Oliver chimed in warmly, "This place could use a woman's touch."

Josefina stayed quiet and dug into her meal.

As they got closer, Josefina heard him ranting, "Your precious son wants to ship me off overseas. He's dreaming! And you, even dead, you stir up trouble, wrecking my family!"

Oliver stormed forward, landing a punch squarely on Rowan's face.

Rowan hit the ground, blood dribbling from his mouth.

"Rowan, you have no right to be here. Get lost!"

Rowan got to his feet, wiping the blood from his mouth, glaring daggers at Oliver, "Oliver, like it or not, I'm your father! You think sending me away will fix things? I'm telling you, unless I'm dead, I'm not leaving Westwood."

Oliver, fed up with his arrogance, punched him again.

Rowan's face swelled from the blows, but he remained defiant, "Oliver, I'm your dad. How dare you hit me!"

Oliver glared back, cool as ice, "And I'll do it again if I have to!"
