Oliver cut straight to the point, “With guys like him, don’t even bother talking. If he shows up again, let me know. I’ll take care of it.”
“Don’t worry, I’m done wasting my time on him. I doubt he’ll come looking for me again.”
I mean, who really wants to make trouble for themselves?
…
After a rough encounter, Xavier hobbled out of the gate and spotted Mandy.
His face brightened, and he tried to catch up to her.
But with his sore leg, he couldn’t keep pace.
So, Xavier called out, “Mandy!”
Mandy turned around, and when she saw it was Xavier, disgust washed over her.
She didn’t walk away but stood there, watching Xavier limp towards her.
He looked pitiful.
Mandy’s eyes held nothing but disdain.
Xavier, excited, said, “Mandy, it’s great to see you! Why haven’t you returned my calls? You even blocked me. I’ve been looking everywhere for you.”
“Xavier, you’re such a drama king! I’m still here, how could you not find me? We’re both in Westwood. I’m at class every day. How could you miss me?”
Xavier’s eyes darted, trying to defend himself, “I can’t come to school every day; I’ve got work. Mandy, I’m doing this for our future.”
Mandy snorted, swinging a bag in her hand.
“Xavier, what brand of trash bag are you? You’re always full of it!”
With that, Mandy swung the bag and hit Xavier hard.
Xavier let out a scream as a foul stench filled the air.
The durian in the bag, with its sharp spikes, caused him sharp pain.
