“Ms. Josefina, thanks so much for your help.”
“Oh, it’s really nothing. Just part of the job.”
Josefina glanced over the design sketches, nodding with approval. “These are really well done. But, you know, if you change this round neckline to a V-neck, it might look even more stylish.”
“Got it. I’ll make that tweak right away,” Bobby replied, quickly noting it down on his phone.
Josefina handed the sketches back to Bobby. “Overall, it’s fantastic. No more changes needed.”
Bobby took the drawings back, his face lit up with a smile that wouldn’t quit.
Josefina couldn’t resist asking, “With your talent, you could easily land a job at a bigger company. Ever thought about moving up to something bigger?”
“Ms. Josefina, I’m not the ambitious sort, honestly. Big companies are intimidating with their workload and stress. Here, the atmosphere is the best I’ve encountered in all my interviews. I genuinely enjoy being here.”
Josefina just smiled, and Bobby went on, “Ms. Josefina, am I messing up anywhere? If there’s anything I can fix, just tell me, and I’ll do it.”
“You’re doing a great job, really. No changes needed. Keep it up; I have high hopes for you.”
Bobby beamed with happiness and headed out to continue his work.
A little while later, Kale walked in.
“Hey, Kale,” Josefina greeted as he took a seat. “How’s everything going at the company?”
“Everything’s smooth sailing. Alex’s designs are a hit, and everyone’s working together really well. No issues at all.”
