Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 932

She stayed put, determined to see what Rowan had up his sleeve. In the next moment, the two bodyguards Rowan had brought along were escorting Sydney to the front door. Rowan followed closely, standing at the threshold with a calm, detached look on his face as he addressed Sydney.

"I really like this house, so I'm keeping it. This is where we part ways. You should leave."

Just then, Dominic showed up, looking bewildered. "Dad, what do you mean by that?"

Sydney, tears welling up, cried out, "Dominic, your dad wants to divorce me! Can you believe it? He's actually talking about a divorce!"

"Dad, how can you do this to Mom? You've been together for twenty years. Even if Mom hasn't been perfect, she's been through so much with you."

"I get that, which is why I'm leaving her with everything," Rowan replied.

Sydney, fuming, shot back, "You’re leaving me with nothing! What have you really given me, Rowan? Just take a couple of days to calm down and think it over, will you?"

Dominic was just as anxious, worried he might be next if Sydney was left with nothing. He resolved to keep Sydney around. "Dad, maybe you should sit down and talk this through with Mom. Don’t rush into anything."

"I have nothing to discuss with her," Rowan said coldly before turning back inside and shutting the door.

Seeing this, Dominic took Sydney away.

...

In the car, Sydney was beside herself, angrily punching the decorative pillows. "Dominic, Rowan’s lost his mind! It's like he's under some kind of spell, wanting to divorce me and leave me with nothing! It's unthinkable! I won’t let it happen!"
