Miss Josefina: Nobody's Princess novel Chapter 934

"I won't agree to let you take care of Rowan, so just drop it! Get out of here and quit stirring up trouble!"

With a nod from Brandon, his bodyguards quickly ushered Dominic and Sydney out.

Once they were outside the hospital, Dominic and Sydney sat in their car, tension crackling between them.

Dominic was furious, smacking the steering wheel in frustration. "The old man actually threw us out! I warned you not to let anything happen to Rowan, but you never listen. Now he definitely thinks we're to blame for Rowan's condition!"

Sydney, however, seemed unfazed and self-assured. "If he doesn't have an accident now, we'd be kicked out of the Baldwin family anyway! As long as he's in a coma and can't divorce me, we're still part of the Baldwin family!"

Dominic shook his head, exasperated. "Mom, even if you haven't divorced him, do you really think Brandon will let us keep living with the Baldwins?"

Sydney went quiet, her thoughts tangled, unsure how to navigate this mess.

"How's Shay doing? Take me to see her."

With a sigh, Dominic started the car and drove Sydney to see Shay.

...

Meanwhile, in the hospital room, Josefina was updating Brandon on Rowan's condition. "Grandpa Brandon, Rowan's sudden coma is due to his poor health and because someone drugged him. Waking up won't be easy."

Brandon's eyes were red as he looked at Rowan on the hospital bed, emotions swirling inside him.

"Josie, is there any chance of him waking up?"

"There is. I'll keep him stable with meds and have Percy monitor his condition closely."

Brandon expressed his gratitude. "Josie, thank you. If you weren't here today, he wouldn't have made it!"

Josefina was conflicted. She didn't owe Rowan anything. It was Brandon's influence that swayed her decision.

Plus, Josefina wanted Rowan to face the truth about how he wronged Oliver's mother. He was just starting to see his mistakes; dying peacefully was too easy.

"He needs to stay alive for now," Josefina decided. "There are a lot of truths he needs to uncover."

Percy nodded, ready to follow Josefina's lead. If she wanted Rowan to live, he would ensure it. If she decided otherwise, Rowan wouldn't see another sunrise.

"Josie, we'll do as you say. Don't worry, I'll keep him breathing, just a breath away."

Josefina nodded in acknowledgment.

With their tasks lined up, Josefina left the hospital, her mind already on other things she needed to handle.
