The atmosphere in the room was intensely hostile.
A smug smile curled the corners of Serena's lips. A little voice in her heart was screaming for them to stop arguing and just start fighting already.
If Jules got into a fight on his first day back home, Jonathan would definitely teach him a harsh lesson.
However, she miscalculated.
Clara coldly raised her hand, grabbed Jules directly by the collar of his shirt, and dragged him upstairs.
Jules was completely petrified.
He was five foot nine and weighed one hundred and thirty pounds. There was no way a normal girl could lift him up so easily.
But right now, he was indeed being hauled up by Clara.
And she was dragging him upstairs without any effort at all.
Ethan silently followed behind them. See, this was what happened when you didn't listen.
"Let me go!"
Jules yelled.
He struggled desperately, exhausting all his strength to break free, but he couldn't escape her grip at all.
He was practically going crazy with anger.
He had never been treated like this before.
Clara dragged him straight to the third floor and threw him into his room.
This room hadn't been lived in for a long time and was covered in dust. The moment Jules crashed to the floor, dust filled the air, and he couldn't stop sneezing.
"Since you've moved back home, then be obedient." Clara stood in front of him, looking down condescendingly. "There are a little over three months until the high school entrance exams. For these three months, you are not allowed to do anything other than study!"
Standing in the doorway, Ethan shrank his neck back.
Even Jules, who usually feared nothing and no one, had been physically subdued by Clara. So he figured there was nothing embarrassing about being a coward himself.
