Mission: Revenge – The Heiress's Second Life novel Chapter 54

Jules's face was flawless under the streetlamp.

He shoved one hand into his pocket and spoke with cool detachment. "That's right, I don't want to move back!"

Living in the school dorms was so much better. No one dared to control him there. He could do whatever he wanted, and ignore whatever he didn't want to do.

"Jules, you're taking your high school entrance exams soon. You can't keep going on like this." Vera put on the facade of a loving mother. "Kids your age do have fantasies about love. Your father and I won't bring up the fact that you're in a relationship at such a young age, but your grades need to improve..."

"I am not in a damn relationship!" Jules suddenly flared up in anger. "If I did it, I'll admit it. But I will never admit to something I didn't do, even if you beat me to death!"

That girl in his class had confessed to him at least three times, and he had rejected her every single time.

Wasn't playing games great? Wasn't hanging out with his buddies great? He had zero interest in dating!

As a result, he was actually framed by that girl and forced to move back home!

"You still dare to curse in front of me! You have no manners at all!" Jonathan's face turned livid with anger. "Do you really think I don't know about all the crap you've been doing at school? Skipping class every other day, encouraging your classmates to go to internet cafes, cheating and pulling tricks during exams... And now you're even bullying a girl! You're a boy, bullying a girl. You've completely disgraced the Lamberts!"

After scolding him, Jonathan still didn't feel satisfied.

He looked left and right, spotted a steel pipe on the ground in the yard, bent over to pick it up, and charged toward Jules.

Jules didn't dodge. He stiffened his neck and yelled, "Go ahead and hit me! Just beat me to death!"

Jonathan grew even more enraged, raising his hand to strike him.

"Jonathan, don't hit the boy!" Vera urged from the sidelines. "Jules is in his rebellious phase. The more you hit him, the less he'll listen. His personality might become even more extreme. What if he runs away from home... Let's teach him slowly. Jules will change for the better..."

Her words were tantamount to pouring oil on the fire, making Jonathan even angrier and his strikes even more ruthless.
