I screamed at the top of my lungs, hoping someone would at least come to my rescue, but everyone was only interested in setting up their cameras and filming everything. My body ached all over as Sabrina and her minions dragged me out of the hallway, down to an abandoned building at the back of the school that was now used to dump trash.

My heart raced as different thoughts invaded my mind. What if they really killed me here? The management would cover up for them since I was the daughter of nobody and it’d be just another day for everyone else.

They threw me on the floor, making me scrape my legs against the granite wall. I winced in pain, as blood trickled down my legs. My hands trembled beside me as I met Sabrina’s fierce look.

She lurched forward, grabbing a fistful of my hair. The scrap of my hair burned from the force, adding to the pain that was coursing through my veins.

She yanked my chin, forcing me to look straight into her eyes. “Do you really think Kael gives a fuck about you now that you’re his slut?”

I winced from the nickname, but I didn’t dare say a word. After last night, I was certain that whatever was going on between Kael and me was real, and maybe one day we could even be together without any worries, but I knew I just had to survive until then.

“Speak when I ask you a question!” She snapped, digging her nails into my cheeks. I whimpered in pain.

“I… I didn’t…”

What was I going to tell her anyway? That I slept with her betrothed or the fact that I was looking forward to having another quiet moment with him.

My mouth snapped closed before I could say something that’d put me in trouble. Sabrina drew her brows together, looking even more furious. She flung her hands in the air. Before I could prepare myself, her fist collided with my cheeks, leaving my lips swollen.

I tried to speak, but the spot she had just hit me stung like a bitch, forcing me to keep my mouth shut.

“What? Cat caught your tongue?” She signaled to her friends who held me down again, as she slapped my face repeatedly.

My cheeks flushed red, and I could feel the imprint of her hand on my cheeks without even looking. Hot tears pricked the corner of my eyes, and when it slipped, my cheeks stung even more.

“This is so pathetic,” Sabrina muttered under her breath. “How can you even dream of competing with someone like me?”

She kicked my stomach hard, forcing me to crash against the floor. Tears blurred my vision as she kept on hitting me everywhere. I tried to recall my favorite memory. Something to make me forget the external pain, but Kael was all I could think of.

He would come to save me again, right?

Sabrina landed a heavy kick on my stomach, leaving me half unconscious. My eyes were half closed, and I was slowly losing the will to fight.

She didn’t care about any of that though. A smug smile spread across her lips as she spoke again. “Keep your eyes open,” she snapped, grabbing my chin.

“I brought you here because I have a special gift I’d like to show you privately.”

Her friends chuckled as they began to drag me again. I wanted to scream at them. To tell them how unfair what they were doing was, but I could barely keep my eyes open at this point.

Her friends dragged me into the restroom, while Sabrina strode behind us like a queen. As soon as we got in, they threw me against the wall and slammed the door shut.

My chest heaved, trying to keep my breath, when Sabrina suddenly brought out her phone and shoveled it to

face. “This is my gift for you, so you better watch.”

She clicked the play button and for a moment, I forgot how to breathe. It was a recording of Kael and I from last night. The sound of my moan filled the air as he ate me out, but for some weird reasons, Kael wasn’t exactly visible in the video.

My face was as clear as a day, but the angle at which the video was recorded, no one could tell Kael was the one in the video.

My eyes widened and I did the first thing I could think of. I tried to snatch the phone from her hand, but she simply took a step back and began to laugh.

“I must confess, you sure do know how to please a man,” she chuckled and her friends joined her.

I bit my lower lips, trying to stop my tears, but it was too late. “Maybe I’d arrange some of my boys to give you what you wanted so badly since you’re that desperate, but only if I didn’t kill you now.”

Her friends burst into a fit of laughter and my stomach curled in shame.

“H-how?” I managed to speak.

“You’re wondering how we get the video?” Sabrina chuckled and her friends mocked me.

“She wants to know why!” Mary laughed.

“Since you’re curious, I’ll tell you,” Sabrina said with a glint in her eyes. My heart raced, and I knew I wouldn’t like whatever she was about to say, but I listened anyway.

“Kael recorded the video and as we are speaking, the video has been posted on all the school websites.”

I shook my head vehemently, refusing to believe anything that comes out of her mouth, but she simply laughed at me.

“You’re even more gullible than I thought,” she tutted. “How can you trust Kael so easily? He simply played his biggest prank on you and like the fool that you are, you fell for it.”

The sound of her laughter echoed though the room, as a stream of tears flowed down my cheeks.

“How do you like this surprise? I planned everything with Kael.”

A cleaner stepped in, but as soon as she noticed what was happening, she hurried away, when Sabrina stopped her.

She shoved her forward, leaving the innocent woman in the middle. “I came to collect the trash so that I can dump it,” she said in a single breath, pointing to the trash bag she left on the floor.

Sabrina’s eyes lit up with amusement as she spoke. “Dump the trash on her body,” she commanded.

The cleaner’s eyes widened, as she stood rooted to the same spot.

“Now!” she snapped and without another word, she carried the trash bag and emptied the contents on my body.

“Did you finally realize your place now?” Sabrina asked, but all I could think about was Kael.

Could he have really recorded me? I shook my head, refusing to believe the truth even when it was in front of me. He couldn’t have played me. Not like this.

I saw the way he looked at me. The way he kissed me felt too real to be a lie. The way he holds me… eats me out… he can’t possibly do that to someone he was pulling a prank on.

I was too consumed with my thoughts to care about what Sabrina was doing or the trash that was now all over my body. Just then, Sabrina stepped closer, and before I knew it, she opened her bottle of water and poured everything on my hair.

Water trickled from my hair down to my body. They laughed at what she did, as Sabrina cleaned her heels

with my uniform. She pressed her heels against my chest, dragging it down my stomach before stepping back and her friends followed her lead. Once they were done, they left the bathroom, leaving me alone.

My body felt like it was in a pickle. I could barely stand by myself, but the emotional pain I was in was worse than the one radiating through my veins.

I staggered out of the bathroom, ignoring the pain that was eating me alive. My vision was blurred with tears, and I could barely see what was ahead of me, but I knew I needed to find Kael.

I had to look into his eyes and ask if any of what Sabrina said was true. I needed to know if this was all a

game to him. If any of what we had was real because I didn’t think I could survive unless I heard the truth from him.
