76. Sabrina’s demands

A surge of rage coursed through my veins as I stormed out of Nevaeh’s room. Even with everything going on, the last person I expected her to run to was Damon. That bastard would only make use of her vulnerability and try to exploit her, but she was being too fucking difficult to reason with.

I couldn’t sleep a wink all night. As soon as my alarm rang, I got dressed and headed straight to school. Everywhere was still dark when I arrived, so I headed straight to practice.

The image of Nevaeh smiling at Damon flashed before my eyes, and I lost focus. I hit the stick on the ice, making a cracking sound.

“Fucking asshole,” I spat in the air, tossing my stick away as I stormed off into the locker room to get dressed.

Sabrina was already there, leaning her weight against the wall when I walked in. Ignoring her, I walked towards the bathroom when she hurriedly grabbed my wrist.

“Are you just going to ignore me now?” I didn’t miss the hint of annoyance in her tone, but the look in her eyes tells a different story. She looked up to me with her big doe eyes, almost pleading for my attention.

Maybe that’d have worked in the past, but she crossed the line when she went after Nevaeh, and I’m not about to act like that was nothing.

“Unless you plan on getting into the shower with me, then you’d better leave now,” I said coldly, shoving her away.

She crossed her arms against her chest, looking slightly offended. “Do you ever wonder how your little porn video went viral?” She asked with a smug smile, and my body went still.

She had my whole attention now, and the smile that curved her ps showed how much she was enjoying it. “You didn’t have anything to do with the video, do you?” I asked through gritted teeth, and she only snorted in response.

“Are you even listening to yourself? Why do you care about whoever posted the video? That bitch reputation is none of your business. And do you know what else shouldn’t have mattered? Sticking your dick into her fucking c—”

I grabbed her neck angrily, yanking her closer before she could even finished her words. She swallowed hard, trying to get me to release my grip on her throat, but it only tightened.

“Answer only what you’re asked or this won’t end well for you, I warned.

Tears pricked her vision as she inhaled sharply. She dug her nails into my arm, trying to get me to release my grip, and just recalling how badly she had hurt Nevaeh fueled my anger.

“I’ll ask again,” my voice dropped into a whisper, as I looked her dead in the eyes. “Did you have anything to do with the video?”

She parted her lips, but could only make out a ragged breath. Her body flushed red and the way she held onto my hands showed her much she was struggling to breathe.

I released my grip, sending her almost crashing against the floor. She snapped her hands against her neck, inhaling sharply before recollecting herself.

Her eyes flared up, shooting me daggers as she stood firmly against me. “Have you gone mad? Humiliating me publicly because of that bitch wasn’t enough. Are you trying to kill me now?”

“Would you like a repeat or are you willing to answer while I’m being nice?” I shot back, and she scoffed in disbelief.

She wiped the tears that streamed down her cheeks harshly, sti glaring at me. “What if I did? Will you kill your betrothed because of some lowly omega?” She drew her brows together and my hands curled into a fist.

I inched closer, and she backed away instinctively. “I dare you to repeat that word.”

“I recorded the video!” She admitted, looking just as frustrated as I was.

“You did what-” I ran my hands in my hair, feeling even more frustrated. “How could you be so stupid? Who gave you the right to share the video? What makes you think you can?!”

She shook her head in disbelief as tears glinted in her eyes once again. “Do you have any idea how humiliating that felt? Watching you fuck a lowly omega when you wouldn’t even mark me? You made me lie to the pack, flaunting an empty bandage just to protect your pride, and what did I get in return? You fucked that whore behind my back!”

Her body shook violently, but somehow, I didn’t feel the least sorry for her. “Would you have preferred if I did it in front of you?”

She parted her lips to speak, but no words came out. “Our engagement is a useless arrangement made by our parents. You don’t expect me to be loyal to that, do you?”

“Only because our parents wanted it!” I snapped back, feeling my anger vibrating through my veins. I couldn’t even believe we’re having this conversation now.

“Isn’t that what you wanted? To bear the title of the future Luna It’s all yours, but don’t you dare poke your nose into my affairs or tell me what to do.”

I stared at her blankly. “Do you really want me to answer that? You posted the video. You’re the reason everyone is talking about her. Why should I care about your feelings?”

She nodded sharply, inhaling a deep breath. “Fine. Have it your way,” she wiped her tears harshly as she struggled to keep her voice steady.

“But two can play the game,” she continued with a smirk. “If you refuse to do right by me and give me the respect I deserve, not only will I reveal the face of the man in the video to the other students, I’ll also ensure it gets to your father this time.” My stomach dropped at her words, and she beamed with pride. I’m sure Alpha would love to hear all about how his beloved son is fucking his stepsister. Shall we take a bet?” She drew her brows together and my jaw clenched.

“If you know what’s best for you, you’ll sets things straight and go back to being mine alone, or I won’t hesitate to ruin that little bitch of yours.”
