Zachary glanced at him lightly and said, "It's alright."
Everyone was speechless.
"Alright" meant it was pretty damn good.
"However..." Zachary said to Felicity and Stella, "Yvaine is in a bad mood. As her best friends, you should really go and comfort her."
Otherwise, what if she makes herself sick from being so mad?
He just wanted to piss her off, to teach her a lesson. He didn't actually want to ruin her health.
If she got sick, it would break his heart.
Felicity and Stella exchanged confused looks.
Why would Yvaine be in a bad mood?
"What's wrong with her?" Felicity asked.
Zachary's lips curled into a faint smirk. "I don't know. Why don't you go ask her?"
Everyone just stared.
Look at how smug he was.
Who knew what he was so damn proud of.
Felicity grabbed her phone and texted Yvaine.
Felicity: *Babe, what's wrong?*
Yvaine: *Hm? What do you mean?*
Felicity: *Are you in a bad mood? If you are, let's hang out.*
Yvaine: *I'm not in a bad mood.*
Felicity: *Really?*
Yvaine: *Really. Why would I lie to you?*
Felicity: *Zachary said you were.*
Yvaine: *...*
Yvaine was a little baffled.
Why would Zachary say she was in a bad mood?
Who told him that?
Felicity: *Zachary seems to be in a great mood, though. We thought he'd be a wreck right now, but he's here at dinner, looking positively radiant.*
Yvaine: *Oh.*
With a beauty in his arms, of course he was radiant.
It seemed the apple Xylia fed him last night was incredibly sweet.
Felicity looked at Zachary's smug expression.
