My Drama King Husband (Yvaine and Silas) novel Chapter 76

Zachary glared at Mona and snapped, "And as for you, you're just an assistant. Stick to your actual job description and stop trying to psychoanalyze me. You're always guessing wrong anyway."

Mona stared back blankly.

She really wanted to laugh in his face.

She was guessing wrong?

After working for Zachary for years, she had his chaotic temperament completely figured out.

He was just too proud to admit he was utterly desperate. He was digging his own grave.

Serves him right!

"Understood," Mona replied with perfect professional courtesy. "I hear you loud and clear, Mr. Lowell. From now on, I will focus entirely on my designated duties. I won't overstep."

Zachary ground his teeth, shooting her a dark look. "Fantastic."

"Now get out!"

Mona offered a polite nod. "Yes, Mr. Lowell. Let me know if you need anything."

With that, she turned and left the office.

Zachary felt like his blood pressure was going to blow off the top of his head.

He really wanted to fire her!

Returning to her desk, Mona finally noticed she was still clutching the medical ointment.

Zachary's wounds were only half-treated.

She tossed the tube onto her desk without a second thought.

She couldn't care less about finishing the job.

Let him suffer.

Treating his wounds wasn't in her job description anyway.

Her actual job was to be his executive assistant and help him manage the company.

Mona booted up her computer and prepared to dive into some actual work.

Suddenly, her phone buzzed with a notification.

She unlocked it to check.

It was Linda. She had just dragged Mona and Sarah into a group chat.

The chat only had the three of them.

The group name: *The Secretary Triumvirate*.

Mona stared at the screen.

They had literally just exchanged contacts today. How were they suddenly a 'triumvirate'?

Linda: *Girls, our boss is in a terrible mood.*

Sarah: *Our boss is in a terrible mood too.*

Mona looked at the texts, completely unsure of how to respond.
