Chapter 243
“What other choice do I have? He blocks me at every point. I have to win this, Gerald.” She told me.
I sighed and asked her when the fight was.
“Tomorrow morning,” she replied to me.
We spoke some more, and I told her about how Tony fights, his patterns, and all of that. After that she hung up.
I sat down in the darkness of my study, my mind trying to figure out who the mole was.
My phone rang. I looked at it, and it was Cassandra’s father.
I sighed. But first I had a wedding to plan.

The amphitheater was full as everyone came to watch the fight between me and my stepbrother.
“These are the conditions. Should she win the present alpha, all charges against her will be dropped, and she would reclaim her seat as the alpha, but if she loses, she will have to submit herself to judgment.”
The referee then addressed me. “Do you accept?”
I nodded. “I accept.”
The referee nodded back and addressed the audience. “Let the fight begin.”
He left the ground for the two of us.
Tony smiled. “You should have stayed in hiding. I knew you were alive and that that treacherous Gerald didn’t kill you, but I left you alone because I believed you knew the difference in our strengths and wouldn’t try anything, yet here you are…”
“You talk too much.” I said to him.
“Alright. Tell me, have you ever fought a black wolf?” he asked, throwing me off guard.
His shift was instant, and in his place stood a really gigantic black wolf… the same one I had been seeing in my dream.

It was that voice again, and now I believe it was my wolf trying to communicate with me.
I let go of my control, and my wolf came to the forefront. I transformed, though not as swiftly as Tony, and it was even more painful.
My wolf was only half the size of Tony, but still it wheeled around and crashed full-bodied into Tony’s black wolf, the two of us becoming a tangle of furs, my silver versus his black.
We went on in that manner, biting and snapping at each other. If not for the information I had about Tony’s fight pattern from Gerald, I might have lost even before the fight had progressed, but I was holding my ground.
I made a wrong move, and Tony took advantage of it, crashing his massive fangs on my neck.
i struggled, but he was stronger. Still biting into my neck, he lifted me off the ground and shook me like a rag, my blood spraying
everywhere.
I felt my consciousness slipping from me. Faintly I heard the crowd cheering for him, encouraging him to finish off the father killer.
I struggled to stay conscious, still trying to free myself from his powerful jaws, but it was like a vise.
Then I had an idea.
1 managed and twisted till I was looking upwards. I waited for the right time, and as soon as I saw it, I took it.
