My Husband's Affair My Anniversary Gift (Lily and David) novel Chapter 263

“What the hell is wrong with you?” she snapped when she saw David standing there, his face dark with anger.

“What’s wrong with me?” he shot back, his jaw clenched. “You’re asking me that?”

“Ugh, David,” Lily said, waving her hand. “I don’t have time for your temper.”

She turned toward the wardrobe.

Before she could take another step, her body was yanked back.

Her back hit the wall hard.

“David....”

Her words died in her throat.

His lips crashed onto hers.

Rough....Angry....Desperate.

"...."

Lily raised her hand to hit him, but he caught both her wrists and pinned them above her head with one hand. His other hand slid under her pajama shirt.

She trembled at the cold touch.

“Uh… Dav.....” she whimpered between his kisses.

Her mind blurred. Her body weakened despite herself.

Then anger snapped back.

The woman’s voice from last night flashed in her mind.

She bit down hard on his lower lip.

David hissed and stepped back, clutching his mouth.

“Damn it, Lily!” he growled.

Blood stained his lip.

Lily stared at him, breathing hard. She wiped her mouth like his kiss disgusted her.

“Don’t you dare touch me again,” she warned.

“If not me,” David snapped, grabbing her nape and slamming her back to the wall again, “then who do you want touching you?”

“David, leave me!” Lily shouted, struggling.

He trapped her wrists again above her head.

“I asked you something,” he said through clenched teeth. “Who? That Jabco? Or some other man?”

His eyes were sharp and Burning.

For a moment, fear flickered in Lily’s chest.

But her pride was stronger.

And she refused to back down.

“That’s none of your business,” Lily shot back, her eyes cold. “And definitely not you.”

David’s jaw tightened hard. His hand slid up, stopping at her neck, not squeezing but holding enough to make her breath hitch.

“Lily… I’m trying…” he said through clenched teeth.

She gasped softly.

For a second, it looked like he might actually lose control. But Lily felt it clearly. This wasn’t blind anger. This was jealousy. Raw, ugly jealousy.

And damn it, that realization sent a strange shiver through her body.

“What are you trying to do?” she mocked, forcing a laugh. “Trying to see how you can play with me again?”

She looked straight into his eyes.

“David, I’m not stupid anymore. I don’t only have you. I have a thous....”

“Lily, shut up!” he shouted, cutting her off.

He couldn’t bear it.

Just the thought of her with another man made his chest feel like it was collapsing. He had promised himself to step away. He had sworn he wouldn’t force her again.

Yet here he was.
