My Husband's Betrayal My Brothers' Revenge (Rebekah) novel Chapter 227

Following the cobblestone path, they crossed over a beautiful koi pond, navigated a stunning mahogany corridor, and finally arrived at the grand foyer.

"Young Masters."

An older, distinguished-looking man approached the group. Blaze looked at him with a warm smile.

"Uncle Harold, we brought her home."

The moment Uncle Harold locked eyes with Rebekah, his eyes brimmed with tears.

Rebekah felt a sudden wave of panic. Why was he crying?

"Miss... you're finally home. If the Master and Madam, and the elder Mr. and Mrs. Powell were here to see this, they would be overjoyed."

Uncle Harold choked out, furiously wiping at his eyes.

Unsure of what to do, Rebekah shot a helpless look at Blaze, who gently patted the butler on the shoulder.

"Uncle Harold, is her room ready?"

"Yes, yes! I'll take her up right now."

Blaze turned to his sister. "Have Xavier show you to your room. If you need absolutely anything, just say the word."

Rebekah nodded gratefully and followed Uncle Harold and Xavier up the grand staircase.

Caleb stepped up next to Blaze. "You need something?"

"Jensen Hawthorne. Do you remember him?"

Caleb frowned in thought.

Blaze didn't wait for him to answer. "Eight years ago, your hospital admitted a critically injured patient. He was covered in severe gunshot and burn wounds. He was secretly transferred there by the Hawthorne family, and your mentor personally oversaw his care."

As the distant memory rushed back, a flash of genuine alarm crossed Caleb's eyes.

"Are you saying Rebekah's friend is..."

"He's the heir to the Hawthorne family. He's that exact same patient from eight years ago."

Blaze confirmed grimly.
