My Reborn Apocalypse Begins with a Divorce novel Chapter 140

In that instant, Ray entered the state of spatial perception once more.

He precisely locked onto the husky’s attack trajectory. He could even seeevery detail of its bodythe saliva dripping from the corner of its mouth, its razorsharp fangs, and the bullets already embedded in its flesh.

This was the moment.

Ray fired again.

More than twenty sniper rounds streaked out in a perfectly straight line.

If he scattered the shots like falling petals again, then even if every bullet hit the husky, the wounds would be too dispersed. The damage wouldn’t be enough to kill the beast.

To kill a mutated monster like this, all the bullets had to enter through the same wound, drilling deep into its body.

And more than that, it had to be a vital point. For example, the eye.

Through the eye, straight into the brain.

The first bullet shot directly toward the husky’s eye.

Under spatial perception, the bullets seemed to carry a precision guidance system of their own. To avoid being locked onto, the husky had already changed direction seven times, reaching its absolute limit. It could no longer alter its path.

Its dog eyes flew wide open. The stupid husky wore a look of shock on its face, as if it couldn’t believe Ray could still aim at it under these circumstances.

But it was already too late.

In the husky’s pupil, the bullet grew larger and larger, filling its entire visionthen pfft, it plunged inside.

One shot alone wasn’t enough to kill it. At most, it would have been severely wounded:

But the bullets followed one after another, endlessly piercing in.

The rear bullets slammed into the tails of the ones ahead, driving the leading rounds deeper and deeper into the brain.

When more than twenty bullets had been fired, the husky dropped straight out of the air, crashing down as it let out agonized yelps.

Daniel froze for a moment, then burst into laughter. I hit it! I hit it!

He really had been firing at the husky earlier, so he naturally believed he’d done the deed.

Seeing the husky still twitching, he stepped forward and fired several more shots, emptying his magazine.

Daniel, you’re amazing!the other woman hurried to flatter him. In that moment, she had completely forgotten the woman who’d just been pushed out as a shield.

Did it matter? Not at all.

Cassandra, however, was deeply puzzled.

Though she was a clerical officer, she was still a police officer. She had at least some observational skill. Just now, how many impacts had there been when bullets struck the walls? Too many to count.

That wasn’t something a handgun could produce. It would take a submachine gunor even dozens of them firing togetherto

create that effect.

And this wasn’t an auditory illusion. Just look at the spent rounds on the ground and the bullet holes in the walls- at least several hundred bullets had flown just now.

Yet, the gun in Daniel’s hand held only nine rounds in total, chamber included.

How could nine bullets create hundreds of bullet holes?

Could it be?
