My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 119

Langford Villa.

Seraphina sat cross-legged on the sofa, casually snacking on some fruit while chatting with Little Bean.

"Junior, is your prediction power still working?"

"It is, but I can't just use it whenever I want, Mommy," Little Bean's voice was soft and carried a hint of exhaustion.

"Every time I use it, it drains a ton of my energy. I have to save it up for when things get really critical."

"And what qualifies as really critical?" Seraphina teased.

Little Bean thought about it very seriously. "Like when Dad is about to lose a bunch of money, or when Mommy is in danger, or when that evil woman tries to cause trouble again."

Seraphina couldn't help but laugh. "You even know she's trying to cause trouble?"

"Duh! Sienna was practically dying of anger at that tea party. I saw everything!" Little Bean sounded entirely too smug. "Mommy, you should have seen her face when you walked in. She was visibly fuming! Especially when Mrs. Lyndon treated you like royalty and completely iced her out. Her expression was just... tsk, tsk, tsk."

Seraphina shook her head in amusement.

She felt absolutely nothing toward Sienna anymore.

Honestly, she was almost grateful that Sienna had taken the trash out for her by stealing Sebastian.

If she had actually gone through with marrying Sebastian, she'd undoubtedly be living in a living nightmare right now.

Looking back, she felt nothing but sheer relief.

"Mommy, you still need to be careful. I'm worried that bad woman is going to try something nasty."

"I know. Don't worry, I'll be careful," Seraphina replied.

Knowing Sienna, that woman was completely incapable of staying out of trouble.

After being humiliated at the tea gathering, she would definitely spend all her free time plotting new ways to strike back.

"Should we tell Dad?" Little Bean asked, sounding a bit anxious.

In his mind, his father was practically invincible.

Seraphina rested a hand over her stomach, her voice calm and steady. "No need. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it."
