My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 204

Sebastian stood paralyzed on the stage. He opened his mouth to defend himself, but the words died in his throat.

From the front row, Sienna wanted nothing more than to storm the stage and claw Seraphina's face off, but she knew she could not.

There were over a hundred media outlets packing the hall. If she caused a scene now, tomorrow's headlines would not just be about corporate theft—it would be a massive, humiliating scandal about warring high-society heiresses.

Zelda lowered her voice and asked nervously, "Did the Sullivans actually steal her work?"

Sienna remained dead silent, but the sheer panic contorting her daughter's face gave Zelda all the answers she needed.

Sebastian slowly raised his head, his heavy gaze landing directly on Sienna.

A cold shiver raced down her spine, and she instinctively looked away.

Sebastian dragged his eyes back to Seraphina, pulling in a ragged breath. "Ms. Simmons, what exactly do you want?"

It was a white flag. By asking the question, he had indirectly confessed to the theft.

Seraphina looked right back at him. "My demands are simple. First, the Sullivan Group publicly admits to the infringement. Second, you immediately cease all use of my patented technology. Third, a public apology."

"All three are non-negotiable."

Sebastian stared at her, his eyes practically burning holes into her.

A long, suffocating silence stretched over the room before he finally spoke. "Today's press conference is officially over. The Sullivan Group will address this matter through our official channels."

With that, he spun around and marched off the stage, his pace so hurried he looked like a fleeing fugitive.

The reporters surged forward like a tidal wave, only to be violently held back by the security team.

Seeing Sebastian make his escape, Sienna abruptly stood up, grabbing Zelda by the arm and dragging her toward the side exit.

"Sienna, are we leaving already?"

Sienna's voice was sharp as glass. "What else are we supposed to do?"

The mother and daughter slipped out through the side doors as fast as they could.

Zelda panted as she struggled to keep up. "Slow down, I cannot walk that fast!"

"What is going on? Is Sebastian going to be in trouble? What about the wedding..."
