My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 24

Seraphina's eyes grew slightly hot with emotion.

*I am too.*

.....

That night, just as Seraphina was getting ready to wash up, her phone suddenly rang.

She glanced at the caller ID, furrowed her brow, and stepped out onto the balcony before pressing answer.

"Ms. Simmons, this is the property manager at Seaside Gardens. I'm so sorry to bother you."

"It's just... Mr. Sullivan has been banging on your door non-stop, and it's disturbing the neighbors. We've had several noise complaints. I was wondering... if you're home, could you possibly open the door for him?"

The manager spoke as politely as possible.

Seraphina owned a small two-bedroom apartment at Seaside Gardens, bought with her own savings.

Though it wasn't large, it was something that truly belonged to her.

She had been living there all along.

Sebastian must have figured he couldn't get ahold of her, so he was deliberately causing a scene there to force her to show up.

"Ms. Simmons, look..." The manager sounded deeply conflicted. "Mr. Sullivan has been out there making a scene for over an hour. He says he won't leave until he sees you, and it seems like he's been drinking."

Seraphina's fingers tightened slightly around her phone.

That absolute creep. He really was like a nightmare she couldn't shake.

"Mommy, don't go!" Little Bean's voice immediately piped up, full of high alert. "That bad guy is definitely up to no good! He probably brought a whole gang of people to kidnap you!"

Seraphina reassured him silently: *Don't worry, Mommy isn't that stupid.*

She took a deep breath and spoke into the phone. "Please inform Mr. Sullivan that I have already entrusted a real estate agent to list that property for sale, and tell him not to go there anymore. If he continues to harass the building, I will call the police."

The manager was stunned for a moment. "Understood. I will pass that along right away."

Hanging up, Seraphina stood on the balcony, staring thoughtfully up at the starry sky.

It looked like she needed to deal with this as soon as possible.
