My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 306

Knowing it was impossible to argue with him, Susan quickly packed away the dishes, offered a few more maternal reminders, and headed out with her thermos.

The room descended back into a comforting quiet.

Feeling much better after the meal, Seraphina leaned back against her pillows and watched her son.

"Lucian."

"Hmm?"

"Have you thought of a name?"

Lucian paused for a fraction of a second before nodding.

"I have."

Seraphina looked over in surprise.

"What is it?"

Lucian walked over to the bassinet and leaned down, scooping the baby up.

His movements were slightly stiff but incredibly cautious, as though he were handling a priceless, fragile artifact.

The baby furrowed his tiny brow as he was lifted, his lips turning down into a slight pout, but he didn't cry.

Lucian brought him over to Seraphina, and they both gazed down at the small face.

"Hudson Langford," Lucian said smoothly. "Hudson. It means brave and secure, always surrounded by love."

Seraphina tested the name on her tongue, her eyes welling with tears.

"Hudson... Hudson..."

As she whispered the name, a tear slipped down her cheek.

It wasn't out of sadness; she was simply overwhelmed with happiness.

"It's a beautiful name," she choked out softly. "I love it."

Little Bean—no, Hudson Langford—shifted slightly in his father's arms and let out a tiny yawn.

He seemed quite satisfied with the choice.

A moment later, a bright, childish voice echoed in her mind. "Mommy, I love this name!"

Seraphina sniffled, a glowing smile breaking through her tears. "I'm so glad you love it."

Lucian watched her cry and laugh all at once. He leaned forward, kissing her forehead gently.

"Don't cry. You'll strain your eyes while recovering."

Seraphina nodded.
