My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 4

"Is that right?" Seraphina said coolly. "Then why are you clutching your stomach?"

Sienna's hands ripped away from her abdomen as if she had been burned.-

Zelda shielded her daughter. "Seraphina Simmons! Have you completely lost it? Just because you don't want to get married doesn't mean you can drag Sienna down with you! What did she ever do to you?"

"She hasn't done anything to me," Seraphina said, staring right at her. "Except sleep with my fiancé."

"You!"

All the color drained from Sienna's face.

Sebastian's expression turned incredibly grim.

"Seraphina!" He lunged forward, trying to grab her. "Stop talking nonsense—"

The crowd erupted into shocked gasps.

Sebastian's demeanor shifted completely.

He seized Seraphina's wrist with terrifying force, his eyes flashing with dark warning. "Seraphina Simmons! Do you have any idea what you're saying?"

"Of course I do."

Seraphina looked at him, her gaze unnervingly calm.

Five years.

She had imagined herself standing before him in a wedding dress countless times, dreaming of the moment he would gently lift her veil and kiss her.

But right now, the man standing before her felt terrifyingly like a stranger.

She spoke slowly, emphasizing every word. "Sebastian, did you really think I didn't know? Three months ago, you tricked me into going to The Phoenix Club. You drugged me and tried to hire someone to ruin my reputation so you could control me for the rest of my life."

Sebastian's pupils shrank in panic.

"But you didn't see it coming, did you? I walked into the wrong room," Seraphina let out a cold laugh. "So the men you hired found an empty bed, while I spent the night in another room."

"You—how do you know..."

Seraphina cut him off. "How I know doesn't matter. What matters is that you deliberately manipulated me, and you've been sleeping with Sienna long enough to get her pregnant."

Sienna stood on the sidelines, her face as white as a sheet.

She wanted to speak, but Zelda grabbed her arm tight.

Little Bean started screaming, "Mommy, ask Daddy for help! They're ready for you. As soon as the wedding is over, they'll lock you up and torture you. Hurry!"

Seraphina's heart lurched in fear, and her eyes instantly darted toward Lucian.

Perhaps because the hall had become too chaotic, the powerful man was already preparing to leave.

In a state of panic, Seraphina lunged toward him.

Seeing this, the two guards moved in to grab her.

Seraphina flipped a table out of the way, shoved her way through the crowd, and sprinted forward.

The entire hall seemed to freeze in place.

Seraphina crashed directly into a firm chest that smelled of crisp cedarwood.

The man stiffened slightly.

But Seraphina didn't care. Her fingers clamped down on the lapels of his tailored suit, clinging to him like a drowning woman clutching a lifeline.

"Please, take me out of here," she pleaded, her voice trembling.
