My Unborn Baby Chose My Husband for Me novel Chapter 415

Lucian pushed the door open and walked in, holding a warm bowl of soup.

"You're awake? Good timing. Have some soup, it will make you feel better."

Seraphina offered a soft hum of agreement and reached out to take the bowl.

Lucian smoothly dodged her hands and sat down right in front of her. "I'll do it."

With that, he scooped up a spoonful, blew on it gently, and held it to her lips.

Left with no other choice, Seraphina opened her mouth and took a bite.

Lucian gave a slight nod, seemingly very pleased with her cooperation.

He fed her another two spoonfuls.

Unable to handle the intense pampering any longer, Seraphina reached for the bowl again. "Let me do it. You acting like this makes me uncomfortable."

Lucian didn't loosen his grip. "You scared me half to death today. You have to pay the price."

"What price?" Seraphina's chest tightened.

"Let me wait on you hand and foot for three days."

Seraphina was speechless.

Excuse me, Mr. Langford, but in what world is that a punishment?

Little Bean rolled over in his sleep. "Three days is too short. I recommend a lifetime."

Seraphina turned her head away, the tips of her ears burning bright red.

Noticing her sudden flush, Lucian leaned in closer, intrigued though completely unaware of the cause.

"Why are you blushing?"

"It's hot. The fever just broke, so I'm feeling flushed."

"Liar."

"I'm not talking to you anymore."

She leaned forward and aggressively slurped two spoonfuls of soup, pretending to be deeply invested in her meal.

Lucian didn't call her bluff; instead, a wide grin stayed firmly planted on his face.

He pulled out his phone and checked a message from Christian Chase.

Zachary Banks and his crew had finally made their move.

Lucian's mood instantly soared even higher.

The three days vanished in the blink of an eye.
