Tiffany grabbed the bracelet back. "We claimed it first!"
Even though it wasn't a limited edition piece, the idea of having the same matching bestie bracelet as Melody Monroe made her stomach turn.
She knew Seraphina felt the same way.
"Hey!" Evie glared at Tiffany furiously. "Do you have any manners? Just snatching things out of people's hands?"
Tiffany was fuming and ready for a fight. "I should be asking you that! Didn't you see Sera's injured hand? Yet you still yanked it so hard."
Evie looked away, muttering under her breath, "Not my fault she's hurt..."
"You..." Tiffany rolled up her sleeves.
Seraphina stopped Tiffany and met Evie's glare calmly. "Our manners disappeared the moment you decided to snatch things from us."
"You..." Evie was rendered speechless.
"I'm telling Lucian!"
Recovering from her shock, Evie threw out her brother's name as a threat.
"Oh?" Seraphina arched an eyebrow, completely unbothered.
Melody, who had been quietly watching, finally stepped forward, shielding Evie. "Evie..."
She shook her head and whispered into Evie's ear, "Don't pick a fight with her right now. Your brother is completely obsessed with her."
Melody paused, adding, "If you cross her now and she complains to Lucian, he really might send you back overseas."
"And even if I try to beg him for you, he won't listen to me."
Evie frowned. She knew Melody was right, but it still made her blood boil.
Her brother had changed. For an arrogant woman like Seraphina, he was willing to cast aside his own sister.
Her eyes reddened, and she scoffed. "Fine. Can't I even buy something I like?"
"Sure. You can have it."
Seraphina turned to walk away.
Evie paused, staring at Seraphina's back, wondering why she was giving up so easily.
